Re: The Jew the Christians Hater.
@feelgud I think the Quran is brilliant in its observation of the relation between the nature of humans and their actions. The Pagan Meccans were fighting the Muslims because their economy was threatened---they did not want to let go of the wealth and identity created by the trade and pilgrimage. It...

Re: The Jew the Christians Hater.
from my understanding---some Jews would not have any problem considering Jesus Christ(pbuh) as a Rabbi (rebel rabbi)---they object to the concept of him as a mesiah, as son of God, and as God --- as it goes against their "Shema" (Shema---belief in One God----sort of like Tawheed) Likewise-...

The trouble with people like John Yoo is that they have lost their moral compass---if they ever had one----evil is the norm. Wiki explains the term "Banality of evil"---which I think applies today..... Banality of evil is a phrase coined by Hannah Arendt and incorporated in the title of he...

that the U.S. is a souless moral degenerate is a given.....but where is the soul in our Umah? I was watching an interview of Chalmers Johnson (who has written several books) and he mentioned that in the CIA renditions---the "go-to" country for torturing a captive was Jordan and the "g...

so why does God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful....not stop us from doing such harm? ---because God gifted us with free-will, intelligence, and an inherent predisposition to goodness. "Adam (as) was the first human created. That doesn't mean he was the only one created. " Interesting point, I could agree with it...... In Aramaic, "Adamah" means "People of the soil". In Jewish Apocrypha, (Prophet) Adam (pbuh) may have had a wife before "Eve"...

Jews It is fascinating how the Quran uses words. From my (scant) understanding, the Jewish people (or the "Hebrews") were tribes. they were organized into 12 tribes and their leaders were a preistly class called the Levites (?). Later, these tribes became a Kingdom (under King Saul, 1020 B...
