Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
However, what he forgets is that M. Ali and Imam Hussain are the only ones (of the five) who are called the Panjatan, i.e. the Five Purified Ones. This is directly mentioned in the Qur’an and no Shia disputes that the Verse of Purification refers to them and only them. Actually, the purposeful misi...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
Ok. That is one way to look at it. But it doesn't make any sense. If the war of Karbala was a religious war, then was Yazid fighting to preserve the deen? Definitely not. Was he fighting to expand his empire? kind of yes since if Hussain would've agreed to accept him as his khalifa, Yazid would've h...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
You didn't answer my question though. What is the difference between a religious war and a political war? What is the criteria to classify a war as one or the other? Since you are absolutely certain about Karbala being a religious war and not political, you should be able to answer that question fai...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
secondly only some radicals and ahle sunnat wa jamaat beleive siffin was politcal war. some say there is some ambiguious ness in it ok --even if it was a politcal war Karbala was definitely not by any stretch of imagination. Can you please tell me the differences between a war that is religious and...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
Aw come on. Muawiyah and Yazid are the cornerstone of bohra religion. They get mentioned almost as much as Ali and Hussain if not more. So much so that the last few bohra Dais actually followed in the footsteps of Muawiyah and Yazid (as we both agree). And other Shias too who value their Gaddi far m...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
So religion can be separated from politics? We can remove Muawiyah and Yazid from the picture (as you suggest removing tyrants from the picture) or not (maybe you want to remove only some tyrants from the picture and not all?) cause then it doesn't suit our political agenda? Sorry I am getting my lu...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
But since as per you, religion cannot be separated from politics where does that leave people like you? No longer Muslims? Same as those who follow Muawiyah and Yazid? Unable to follow the teachings of the prophet (ﷺ) because your leaders are corrupt? Or can you go back to the times when things were...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
If it wasn't politics then it was religion and if so, then I have some bad news for brother Biradar. His Dai and his Dai's competitor are all following the religion of Muawiya and Yazid who were ready to split the Ummah rather than accept someone else as the true successor. They gave the gaddi to th...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (ra), Hazrat Umar Farooq (ra), Hazrat Uthman ibn Affan (ra) and Hazrat Ali (ra) these are the 4 rightly guided khalifas of Islam. Muawiyah was a politician who wanted power for himself and his son just like the bohra Dais of today, the ayatollahs of Iran or the Kings of Saudi ...

Both cannot be right. But both can definitely be wrong.anyone who mentions ra besides the name of whom, who faught with rightly guided caliph deserves LA after his name.
you cannot claim that who fought with rightly guided caliph--both are right.

No Muawiyah was a sahabi of the prophet (ﷺ)
No he was not.
No he was.

1400 years later

My point is, who is following in the footsteps of Muawiyah and Yazid?

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
Muawiyah is respected because he was a sahabi of the prophet (ﷺ). However, Sunni still do not consider him to be from amongst the Khulafa-e-Rashideen. The rightly guided khalifas. The bohra Dais and their sons are actually more like Muawiyah and Yazid than they are like Ali (ra) and his sons. The Bo...

Re: Why Khadijah does not get mentioned
Khadija (ra) gets mentioned in Sunni mosques quiet frequently when the discussion is about women or about those who supported the Prophet (ﷺ) during his first and his worst days. Re: Historical accounts of Karbala
I am not saying that. Allah is saying that in the Quran. And yes, the prophet (saw) is unique and the best human being, but there is a reason why Allah chooses to call out his status in the Quran. So that people don’t do what they did to Isa (as) or what the Bohras did to Ali (ra). But hey, the foll...

Beauty of google search How can they take protectors besides Him? It is amazing how the STFs and SMSs and SMBs will not miss an opportunity to glorify themselves or to justify their claims to power. Doesn’t matter if it is on the backs of the martyrdom of Ali (ra) or Hussein (ra).

Re: One step that will change your life and bring more understanding about Islam
Bro Biradar, Thanks for clarifying your stance. Everything Ali knew about the Quran, he was taught by the prophet (ﷺ). I am 100% in agreement with that. However, whatever was taught to Ali was by no means special or only for Ali. It was being taught to every other Sahaba who cared to learn from the ...

Re: One step that will change your life and bring more understanding about Islam
The fact that the Quran was revealed upon the Prophet (ﷺ) is mentioned in the Quran. The Quran wasn't revealed BY the prophet (ﷺ). It was revealed TO him. But the taawil wasn't revealed to Ali. It was revealed BY Ali!! What does that mean? Ali is the better than Allah?

Though, it is possible that this refers to the Eternal Tablet.
The eternal tablet is not revealed. (Nazzalna) only the Quran is revealed. So no this ayah does not refer to the eternal tablet.

Re: One step that will change your life and bring more understanding about Islam
First, the preservation of the Quran is guaranteed by Allah in the Quran itself. إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ Behold, it is We Ourselves who have bestowed from on high, step by step, this reminder? and, behold, it is We who shall truly guard it [from all corruption]....
