Re: The True Imam - How would you verify?

In addition, he made decisions based on his own judgment and was wrong (at least was not able to choose the better option) in some of these decisions. As such, it is clear that not all of his sayings and practices were a product of divine revelation. So Br. MF as per you and your ulema, Prophet can...

Head Aamil of Surat is Mudar BS. Every big city has a head aamil and sub-aamil for each mohalla. The sub-aamil involved in rehmatpura incident is son of Dr. Luwai BS and nephew of Mudar BS. (i.e. Mudar BS & Luwai BS are brothers) Mudar BS is father of Kinana BS (Dubai Aamil) and Qusai BS (Sharja...

Re: Qasr Namaz and its rules

My 2 cents... I believe Qasr namaz and skipping of fasts for travellers is an exemption granted by Allah. So if a person chooses to not take the exemption it is completely ok and hence his fast and prayers would still be valid even if he is travelling. Take for example, 2:184 & 2:185 states that...

Re: Ramadan Al Kareem

Just an aside, Ramadan has nothing to do with enjoying iftaris, suhoors and family time. Br. Pro Suhoor is sunnah of the Prophet, there are many hadiths to that effect and even Syedna strongly recommends suhoor. Although not having suhoor does not invalidate the fast, but its recommended....

Re: Surah 19: Maryam - 49 & 54

As per Bohras, Mustakar imams are from the lineage of Ismail and Mustavda imams from the lineage of Isaac. Imamat passes on from Abdullah (father of Prophet) to Abu Talib (Hazrat Imran). Bohras consider Abu Talib to be the last imam of the period / shariat of Prophet Jesus. This is the reason for Ab...

Also in the Introduction is Madelung's discussion on who Muhammad thought was his successor - his cousin, Ali. Why? Re: Disgusting Shia/Sunni debate

In 33:33 the Quran is addressing the family of the prophet (saw) which includes the wives. In 33:32, the verse begins with “O wives of Prophet!”, however, when it comes to verse 33:33, Almighty chose to use words “Ahlul Bayt” instead of “Ya Nissaa-un-Nabiyi”. There’s difference in interpretation, l...
