Did he ever in any of his bayans tried to make people smile or laugh?

yes SMB use to crack mild jokes on husband and wife, and it was a standard one, same joke and same reaction from people.

"he use to say dont be such a wife, ke jyare husband ghare aawe e dua padhto huo aawe" not exactly but some thing of this sort.

There has been many instances, where orators have cracked a light joke .. sometimes between man and wife and many a times, ridiculing "ola-musalmano" or comment on non muslims way of life etc etc.

abdes enjoy ridiculing others and feel superior in thier make-beleive world of being special ( aalaa darjaa) from thier safe haven called masjids and markaz

Lol... That husband wife joke is real cliche. And really it was same joke and same reaction. So pathetic. They really do live in make believe world.

With all the loot and duplicity occurring in the community all these years since TS coming to power, the Bohras have forgotten their sense of humour. After namaaz we do matam; during weddings, birthday celebrations or any happy occasions as well as unhappy occasions, we do matam and make “rowa jevu modhu”. If you smile or crack a personal joke, the amil, the mullas and “khidmatguzaars’ think you are making fun of them and immediately rebuke you for not keeping “hoormat” of the masjid..

The only time something akin to a smile (or smirk) comes on the mulla’s face is when he has some derogatory words to say about ‘ola musalmano’, ‘iblo’ (Ebrahim Adamjee Pirbhai), ‘ajgar’ (Asgharali Engineer), ‘nomanio’ (Noman Contractor), et al. From top to bottom, no one will refer to these personalities by their proper names, I wonder why!
