Mufaddal Saifuddin (and related topics) - 2015

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Zambia lifts ban on safari hunting to attract tourists ... as wildlife authority pushes to allow lions and leopards to be killed for cash

Ban imposed after allegations of corruption and fears for big cat population
Wildlife Authority says big game hunting makes country competitive
Zambia hopes to develop its tourism trade like neighbouring countries

Zambia has lifted a ban on safari hunting after it caused financial problems for the country.

The 20-month ban was imposed in January 2013 over allegations of corruption in the awarding of government hunting concessions, and amid fears for the future of the country's population of big cats.

'We lost too much revenue following the ban on hunting and the Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) had a lot of financial problems,' said tourism minister Jean Kapata.

Paul Goldstein, a photographer and travel guide with Exodus, who specialise in tours to the area, said removing the ban was 'deplorable'.

'Permits are handed out willy-nilly to whichever ethically derelict hunter can afford the fat fee, so desperate they are to put the trophy on their wall. Someone in government gets a fat pay off from these canned hunts and the rest turn a blind eye.'

'Cats bring in money from tourism, unfortunately the pernicious desires of a few corrupt greed-heads just steepens the predators descent into oblivion.'

All he has to do is lift a finger and these white feta guys will pounce on you like the wild cats of Tanzania. This is definitely no religion. however moneies are being printed without paying any taxes whatsoever. such funfare is also claimed as money spent on charitable work.

Just a thought ( Some may find it disgusting)
How about starting a COMPOST factory at Saify Mahal, All the garbage collected (including everything disposed thru NOORANI TOILETS) in Saify Mahal can be used as NOORANI Fertilizer and can be sold in packets and ask all Abdes and Amtes to use to grow vegetables and fruits using this. Can you imagine how much money can be collected and using BARKATI fertilizer to grow BARKATI food to eat with BARKATI ROOTI and that will generate extra income for SMS and his Goons

Can you give me the reference of the Ayats that give information on How to Pray Namaz, How to Fast, and How to give Zakaat please?
Example:
How many Rakaats, Different types of Farizat Namaaz.
How many days of Ramadan, and what and what not to do in Roza.
The calculation of Zakaat as per the Quran.

Just to name a few.

Just incase you don't find this. Does that mean it's not there? Does it also mean you'll stop praying, or giving Zakaat?

Adam, Action for WADHAWANI (as we say) and AARTI (as Hindu says) both are same irrespective of the things put in thali. I think this is what GM bhai wants to compare.

I have no problem with the wadhava. Done on birthdays, marriage.

Progressives are closet Islamists trying to be Arabs. Islam in India is influenced by Indian culture and that's how it should be instead of trying to be like Pakis who have done everything to run away from Indian roots and pretend to be of Arab ancestry & as a result are in an identity crisis.

Hate for the Dai shouldn't blind us from the good part about Indian Muslims & Bohras who are not sucked into Islamist ideology

Your pitying wont make any difference.

Aqa Maula Mufaddal Saifuddin should now go one step ahead of his predecessors and declare himself the god of both worlds. He has conveniently changed his birth dates to get more money. The most important night in Ramzaan will be spent on his birthday celebrations instead of prayers. But then Bohris are led to believe that celebrating Maulas Birthday is worship. Then he will have an aarti around him with the diya missing and instead of the tika, Our maula will demand hefty sums of money. The night of prayer is wasted by the sinister plans and the ignorant abdes will spend it in watching his videos. Ma Fatema will be spoken about for a few minutes then talk will be given about her roti and then much of the night will be spent glorifying the roti making orders of our holiness. unfortunately nobody will tell our Aali Qader Maula that the Bohri women have always been making rotis in their homes, even before he realised the importance of the self glorifying tool. Our Maula will perhaps talk about Rasul Allah. but the Rasul walked and allowed his slave to ride the horse. It was Nimrood that was carried on palkhis by his people, so our Maula will imitate Nimrood and be carried on a palkhi. This is not for his power show or because he wants to ascertain his position. This is just to allow the poor abde a glimpse of the life of Nimrood as he was a sinner and will dwell in hell. Our grateful maula shows us by example. I just hope that this Ramazan he will remember that he is suppose to fast and a commoner will avoid reminding the ghaib na jaankar that a rose petal cannot be consumed during the fasting hours. But then that episode was just the humility of our Maula, he was trying to show the world that even he can live like a common man who does not have the ilm al Ghayb.

Adam
You are hung up on questions about how to pray but Quran has mentioned about not killing INNOCENT ANIMALS FOR PLEASURE and YOUR PAYMASTER DOES IT ANYWAY. SO ANSWER DOES YOUR MASTER FOLLOWS QAURANIC TEACHING or he just chooses and picks what he wants?
Quran also talks about giving Zakat to help poor CAN YOU PROVIDE FINANCIAL INFORMATION OF YOUR MASTERS PAYING ZAKAT OUT OF THEIR POCKETS INSTEAD OF STEALING FROM HIS ABDES AND AMTES TO ENJOY FIRUNI/YAZIDI LIFE STYLE

If there are specifics in the Quran about these, please let me know. I do not believe that there are and you have to rely on your preferred "authorities" to guide you about them.

My question is not about whether 'walayat' is mentioned in the Quran. It is. My question is how did 'walayat' become equated to 'love'?

When Shia take Ali as their Wali, which according to them is the meaning of ayat 5:55, it "literally" means that they take Ali as their protector (Wali). I suggested that a Mother's protection for her child could be considered "love". Is that the meaning of 'walayat' for you? Love is Protection from danger caused by human, animal or natural agents. Protection is two way. Ali (or his representative and, in Aga Khani case, Ali's reincarnation) protects you and you protect him. Ali loves you and you love him.

To repeat, my question is about the your meaning of the word 'walayat' or 'wali' as these words are in the Quran. It is not about whether the word "walayat" is in the Quran. It is.

Adam,

Arabic for 'love' is 'hubb'. So another way to formulate my question is "Are 'walayat' and 'hubb' as used in the Quran equivalent for you?"

All instances of the root of walayat in the Quran are here:

http://corpus.quran.com/qurandictionary.jsp?q=wly

All instances of the root of hubb in the Quran are here:

Any comment?

It seems he is out to buy one more mine in the African countries which he wants to keep it a secret alongwith his hunting sprees !!

Moreover you deliberately didn't post my full message which had another photograph of a hindu performing Aarti which was to show the similarity between the two.

This is hilarious. To see Adam really fumble here. Take a look at yourself Adam - and your own writings on this forum. Study them, as a mirror for yourself. Become your own self critic, open your eyes, and see how deep in the woods you've gone. It would be an interesting exercise for anyone.

I agree with you completely. Nothing wrong with wadhavu for birthdays, marriages - it is our Indian heritage, and it is not necessary that whatever we do should have the stamp of Arab culture on it. That said, wadhavu for a person in authority like the Dai does appear like puja/worship. And please don't drag "progressives" into this, these are the opinions of individuals. Everybody who criticises the Kothar does not automatically become a progressive, don't paint everybody with the same brush. Progressives are not closet Islamists, we respect and are proud of the influences of Indian culture and we continue to do wadhavu during birthdays and marriages.

Dear Adam bhai,
these people will never believe in dai and imam because even in quran it is written that those who are disbelievers will never believe in allah and his wali in any circumstances .

even if they do that would just be "dikhava".

It is also mentioned in quran that those disbelievers are very corrupt and call themselves reformists.
