Masjid locked during moharrm!

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

The toronto masjid has been locked and remains so as all the 'important' bohras are in Houston. How can a house of God be so desecrated as to be locked especially in the 10 days of moharrm? Not all ppl have the means, time, resources or ablities (or one may say Iman) to go to Houston. Does that mean they should be denied a chance to pray or do ibadat in a masjid. When did masjids become properties of people rather than houses of worship?
dazed and confused in Toronto
banal

This may imply that Bohra community leaders in Toronto, Canada, assumed that all Bohras will be in Houstan, Texas !!! Masjid is not private propert ! It should always be open for prayers everyday.

Who says Bohri Masjids are houses of ALLAH and places of worship ?
They are all properties of Aqa Mola Mohamed Burhanudin (TUS) and that’s the reason why everyday we have to remember and pray for him. So during Muharrm if Toronto Masjid was closed, well its HIS wish and we have no right to complain as the owner decided to close it as
he didn’t trust and have faith in those remaining behind.
If the main stream has not become a CULT then what else it is called?.
The reason why you are "Sheia" (or called Sheia)is that these 10 days are the most significant days in a year to commemorate the sacrifices given by your mola Hussain. And here you were told not to organize or do majalis! What a pathetic situation... you need permission to do Pahjatan Pak's majlis.
By the way a group of bohras who were left behind in Toronto, did get the speaker/zakir (NON-bohra)for Ashura day. I wonder if they had permission from the bhaisaheb or Aamill to do this.
Hyder.
