Why would they do Ashra elsewhere if they want to impress Justice Patel. Kothari Goons will wine and dine (literally wine) the media to broadcast and give interviews to impress upon Justice Patel.
If they do it in Houston, the maximum they can have is about 10 thousand Abdes/Amtes which is not very impressive and specially this will NOT be seen in Mumbai media circle. By keeping in Mumbai, they can parade Political misfits to visit SMS and his goons and thus create another aura of SMS reach and bring additional pressure on Justice Patel.

I feel that gham of Imam Hussain is not only about going to waez for 3-4 hours, crying and doing matam but after coming out of waez, we tend to do all things that Imam Hussain and Panjatan Pak (AS) would not approve off. મોહર્રમના 10 દિવસો વેપાર ધંધા બંધ રાખવાંનું નુકશાન એ 10 દિવસો પૂરતું નથી. નુકશાન જે દેખાય છે એ હિમશીલાની ટોચ છે. વર્તમાન વેપાર ધંધા મોનોપોલી પ્રકારનાં રહ્યાં નથી. તીવ્ર હરીફાઈ છે ગુજરાતમાં પટેલો અને સિન્ધી વેપારીઓ વહોરા વેપારીઓને હરિફાઈમાં સખત ટક્કર આપે છે. દુકાનની અલગ ભારે રકમની સબીલ, વાજેબાતથી માંડીને અનેક નામે વર્ષભરના મોટી રકમનાં ભારથી વહોરા વેપારીઓ મૂડીની તંગી ભોગવતા હોય છે. આ બાબત બીજા વેપારીઓને નડતી નથી. મંદી, દુષ્કાળનું વર્ષ અને મોંઘવારી જેવા કારણસર વેપારીઓ બીજા વેપારીનાં કસ્ટમરને પોતાનાં તરફ ખેંચવાનાં હર કોઈ દાવ ખેલતા હોય છે, ત્યારે 10 દિવસો મોમીનો દુકાન બંધ રાખે તો હરીફ વેપારીઓને પોતાના કાયમી કસ્ટમર સ્વ હસ્તે 'વકફ' કરવાં બરાબર છે. મુઠ્ઠીભર વહોરા વેપારીઓને બાદ કરતાં અનેક વેપારીઓ આર્થિકરીતે ઘસાય ગયા છે. વેપારમાં આવક હોય કે નાં હોય; કોમમાં રહેવાં માટે શક્તિ બહારનો મોટી રકમનો બોજ ઉઠાવવો પડે છે !
