HOUSTAN KE BAAD ABHI GREECE (LESVOS) JAONGE?

The World Federation is pleased to announce a second humanitarian trip to the Greek island of Lesvos which is being planned for 4th December 2015. The visit is planned under the banner ZAINABIYYA ALLIANCE FOR REFUGEES, where a number of organizations, including The World Federation, have united to assist refugees arriving on Europe’s shores by sending volunteers and aid to different areas, starting with Lesvos, Greece.
The name ‘Zainabiyya’ was selected in honor of Lady Zainab (as). The refugee crises in Syria started in Damascus where the shrine of Lady Zainab (AS) sits empty; this humanitarian work pays homage to this great lady who knows all too well the plight of the hardships of travelers in the face of tragedy. The Zainabiyya Alliance for Refugees draws inspiration from the lives and teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) and aims to serve humanity, regardless of ethnic or religious affiliation.
The Zainabiyya Alliance for Refugees is made up of the following organizations:
• Council of European Jamaats (COEJ)
• Imamia Medics International (IMI)
• Islamic Centre of England
• Majlis Ulema Europe
• The World Federation of KSIMC
ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER TRIP TO GREECE
Zainabiyya Alliance for Refugees is looking for volunteers to travel to Greece on its second humanitarian aid trip.
