Critical time for Karachi Mumineen

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Critical time for Karachi Mumineen

Yesterday two young Bohra boys 17 -18 years old targeted by Sunni extremist wing in Karachi. At the time of shooting killers said they will continue their mission because Bohras believe not in Allah and they are Mushrik because they think their Khuda is Dai.
It is a time of Istaghfar and this is the only way to protect ourselves.
Mufaddal is fraud and he is as usual busy in money collection. He has no sympathy with Maqtul's families.

Kindly suggest what Bohras can do for protection. Please contribute seriously for the community interest

the bohri masjid should be a culture that welcomes every one. We must push aside our stereo types and mindsets concerning who is allowed in the doors of the masjid. bohri masjid is not a social club or an elite group. It is a hospital for the broken, a place for people to find their way. Regardless of not having paid wajebaats or not , the doors should be open to every one.

This is fodder for your half chaddi friends who will now have one more excuse to blame Muslims and Pakistan for all the problems in the world and you too can now continue contributing for their cause ! For starters you can organise a tour for Amit Shah and his likes in the RSS and perhaps could yourself accompany them in half chaddi ! You could save some tears which you shed for Kashmiri Pandits and start working for Bohras instead ! One more reason to drag in and blame "Padosi mulk" and use it as a diversionary tactic for Indians to divert their attention from core and burning issues facing India, BTW, Pulses (Dal) is now Rs.200/- per kilo and Tomatoes are Rs.100/- per kg, so much for "Acche Din" by "Feku Sarkar" !!

Nafisa ask why are we being targeted, is it because of our practises or behaviour

Are we the only ones targeted, what about other Shia, Christian or minority

Bohra need to engage with Wahhabi and Sunni ummah and be one, as someone said, open your masjid, open your feast to all, don't differentiate, wear Muslim hijab, wear common topi, melt into the crowd

Most important stop attacking their faith, Khalifas and call your self Muslims.

Now regarding ahlul bayt you can go on respecting in a reasonable way.

Now of course if that is impossible there must be hundreds of people killed across Pakistan and that is life as it is in Delhi, Nairobi or a city anywhere else where crime is committed and we are not targeted

Who heard the killers to report that they are killing the kids because they think Dai is the Khuda?

This posting and photo of Maqtul Bohra is taken from the Facebook
I pity these murderers who within a blink of an eye shatter dreams of dozens of family members. Who take life of not only the family member but the entire family. The only difference left now is that idrees is martyred and his family is living dead.
What idrees taught me is that you should smile in every case. Get into everything u enjoy. Have no grudges. And tension tou leni he nahe hai. We have no idea about where and when are you going to die. He was to come for iftar at my place today. And now we'll be going for his soyam.
We're helpless against this cruel world and all we can do is pray for his parents. He was his only son. It's a kind request to please pray for him and his family member.
Idrees. Your personality han been printed on my heart. You'll never be forgotten my brother.

my heart goes out to the families of those who lost their loved ones in the prime of youth.

the ire of the extremists is misguided and misdirected. targeting the ordinary bohras serves no purpose if ever there was one. if it was meant to convey disgust at the unislamic practices instilled in the bohras by their dai and to make the dai and his haramkhor family and amils change their ways, it is not going to happen. they will not even acknowledge it.

if the head is diseased and corrupt, cut off the head, inflicting torture on the body parts is futile and a waste of time. asking the question what can bohras do to safeguard themselves, the question is a rhetorical one. you know the answer, but the question then arises do you have the guts, will your amils allow you to go without dadhi topi and ridhas, will they open the doors of the bohra masjids, will they curb laanats on the first 3 khalifas, will they do charity for all irrespective of shia/sunni? will they stop the grand processions and show off baazi?

Ridiculous arguments. No one has the right to take anyone's life. This is a sectarian hate killing if it did happen. Regardless of what the Bohras follow there is freedom of practicing religion whatever kind.

But Pakis are beyond redemption with their hate filled deologies

yes and yes, the misfortune did take place in haideri. the boys were stopped and asked for their cell phones. the two boys refused and were shot point blank. One can twist this incident into sectarian hate crime, but facts are that this is a common accurance in Karachi. sectarian riots are also there but on a larger scale. with mufaddal and family projecting themselves as holier than thou and cursing their highly respected first three khalifas, is like adding lumber to the fire. This then trickles down to the lower level where bohris are hurt while muffy and family are well protected in their private planes. Now a days bohris can very easily be spotted because of their dai given uniforms.
This is bad. ridda was supposed to make a woman more sober but various designs of riddas and expensive zari and silver and gold are attached to this supposed to be somber dress code for pious women. this is no longer the case. A ridda is now a fashion symbol and depending upon the art work done on it the price can be bewildering.
The same is with mens uniform. rich and expensive silks are used and gold and diamond buttons are seen on kurtas. this is not the dress of a pious bohri. It is more like a show off. A display of ones wealth. These uniforms should be done away with.

Bohras by themselves are peace and freedom loving people. It is our Dai and his family that has been putting out fires with gasoline. Our attire in public is sign of cult and slavery.

So we reformists are here advising Bohra for their protection, while this site is advertising for donations, Bohra will go in their thousands to give thousands to their SMs for protection.

This site should also ask for $5 Salam for every comment or access to scandal an unregistered ortho wishes to access the site.

What hypocrisy and contradiction.

Let Bohra seek refuge from their Hunter mutilator chief.

I am angered that regardless of reformists achievements Bohra are happy to be treated as slaves. And access to material services is no excuse.

Rida and SKT uniform is more convenient method to avoid showbaazi. No matter how fancy and expensive the dress material of Kurta be, it reflects white color and brings in some sort of uniformity. Gold and Diamond buttons ? I never saw or heard these kinda fashion. Unless the buttons were golden colored or crystal textured (acrylics or plastics).

IMO, Uniform does bring some sort of sanity and neat look to gatherings. if such uniforms are done away with, then we will see ghastly fashion choices.

That would be possible, these freeloading thugs live life big size, they can have any ayyashi with haraam ka kamai (ill-gotten wealth).. anything that these thieves does, we cannot undermine the bigger good of the uniform or any other policy. for example FMB, Qardan hasanat, Muwasat, fostership, sabeel is a good concept, but kothar messed it up to meet their vested interest.

Kothari clergy thugs and pests are off any reform discussion, they are rotten and spoil and have little or no scope to return to honesty or faith.

Kothari Clergy does not believe in God and Faith. If they had 1 % love / fear / acceptance of Islamic faith, they would be not making such atrocious and deceptive claims, treatment and schemes. They are shrewd opportunist who are making optimum best use of people's gullibility and enjoying the loot.

The battle in the family is brewing for power sharing.

Misdeeds , Tax evasion, corrupt practices, money transfers and bribery is taking toll. Many govt agencies are getting wiser.

Strike when the iron is hot. Open as many eyes as you can. Request friends to help poor with food, clothes and school expenses.
