I feel kinda stuck, need advice from those who have left mainstream bohras

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

bohra_manus: You are right. While I do not want to generalise, the demographics of the Bohra scene has changed drastically over the last decades. Sweet-talking 'haan saab, haan saab' chamchas have by their presence emboldened local Amils.

SBM: I agree that higher up Dons are not visiting USA and Canada but their absence has not dimmed their fervour.
