Exposed psuedo moralist

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Can you point out anything immoral in the posts?

What ever is there is meant to show that those whom you put on a high pedestal have feet of clay. Humour is the medium.

There has been no hitting below the belt by any progressive, unlike the jokes posted by gulf about what is in his hijaar and pant. Or even by East African about bucket and shit.

So why the hullabaloo?

Now look who all are talking about morality?

1. Their leaders say laanat on all and sundry, without ever bothering to touch upon why. Then when they get into hot water they are shameless enough to publicly apologise too.

2. Titles and respect can be bought by paying money to the leaders. No other qualifications are necessary.

3. Their leaders pay the murderers and torturers of their own followers and give them respect. Aka Thackeray and Modi.

4. Their leaders tell lies in court and claim to be gods on the earth, "Ilahil Ard".

5. When court cases are lost, their leaders go and celebrate and tell their followers that they have won.

6. Their leaders prevent the followers from reading other points of view, because they fear that the truth will out. So the Bohra chronicle is banned and so is this site.

7. These very same people who come here and shout about morality are afraid that their leaders will come to know that they come on this forum, so they adopt pseudonyms, even when they have no other reason to do so. It is their fear which is keeping them under control of their leaders.

8. These people who have lost all self respect and confidence, so will get raza before they do anything.

9.These people who have such high moral values that they bow and scrape and kiss the ground before their leaders.

Wow! What high standards of morality they set for us hoi polloi

Adding to the above Smart's points:

10. Bohraism is not Islamism nor Humanism. (it is a mixture of Hinduism and Islamism)
11. Bohraism have a demi-god whom they serve, obey and worship. (idols and idolworshipping)
11. Bohraism have their own twisted "holy book" called Daimul Islam (other than secondary Quran & ahadith).
12. Bohraism does not teach, educate nor explain the entire quran and its injunctions verse by verse but rather cherry pick those that favours them. (that is because they are afraid of getting EXPOSED)
13. Bohraism does not allow criticisms of any sort and shuts you up without answers. (they do not possess logical answers)

more to follow!

Brother Danish,
You have said:
10. Bohraism is not Islamism nor Humanism. (it is a mixture of Hinduism and Islamism)

11. Bohraism has their own twisted "holy book" called Daimul Islam (other than secondary Quran & ahadith).

I beg to differ. After the authoritarian rule of 51st and 52nd Dais the Bohraism can be termed Nazism, not a mixture of Hinduism and Islamism. Because whatever the actual practices both Hinduism and Islamism has lots of Humanity.

Our "holy book", Daimul Islam is based on the Islamic teachings and traditions of the holy Prophet and the house of the Prophet. It is a different matter that today most Bohra practices are against Daimul Islam.

So whatever your prejudice please do not defame Hinduism, Islam and Daimul Islam.

A glimpse of Daaim-al Islam. How verse 16:112 is explained by Imam Jafar us-Sadiq?

Imam Jafar us-Sadiq was asked about offering prayers on a pile of wheat, and he forbade it. He was further questioned. ‘But if the harvested wheat is laid out on the ground and becomes level with the earth?’

He said, ‘No prayers can be said upon that which is edible; for it is a [source of] livelihood provided by God, and it is a bounty from Him to mankind; so you should honor it and neither tread upon it nor treat it lightly.

Verily there were a people aforetime for whom God had provided in full measure. But they used good bread as stone pestles for cleansing their private parts and God struck them down with drought and hunger. [They are reduced to such straits that] they began to search for and eat the bread with which they had cleansed themselves, and it was concerning them that the following verse was revealed.

‘Allah coineth a similitude: a township that dwelt secure and well content, its provision coming to it in abundance from every side, but it disbelieved in Allah’s favours, so Allah made it experience the garb of dearth and fear because of what they used to do (16:112).’

Chapter 4: The Book of Ritual Prayers, page 223 from The PILLARS of ISLAM (Daaim al-Islam of al-Qadi al-Numan), translated by Asaf A. A. Fyzee

The Quran is revealed in the Quraish dialect. In the verse cited (16:112), FAKAFARAT BIAN'UMILLAH in the Quraish dialect means,
.... But, they practically denied Allah's blessings by not sharing them with the needy ....

Using the Quraish dialect see how much difference it makes:

16:112 Allah gives you an example. Think of a township that used to be secure and prosperous, with provision coming to it in plenty from all directions. But, they practically denied Allah's blessings by not sharing them with the needy. So Allah’s Law made it experience the garb of hunger and fear for their wrong system.
