May be now we get Bhendi from the Bazar for Thaali Rasm.
Let us see the projects started or money taken to start projects:
1-Saifee Technical High School (money taken and Dawood Baugh sold
2-Noorani Toilet- lasted for a while and no one talks about it
3-Saifee Hospital for poor Bohras but now they have BJP leadership get treatment
4-Zarih for Fatima Zohra in Madinah, gold collected, zarih is still in Purdah, no accountability of all the gold they collected
5-Bhendi Bazar upliftment, any progress report on that
6-Creating SAVE OUR SPARROW, how many have been saved
7-Thaali Rasm: Initially for "KOI MUMIN BHUKOO NA SOYEE" has become $ 100.00 per month for 4 to5 meals per month
I HOPE SOME ONE CAN SHADE LIGHT ON ALL THESE PROJECTS AND TELL US WHAT IS PROGRESS REPORT.

Maharashtra refuses Trust’s request to intervene in Bhendi Bazar project

MUMBAI: The state urban development department has rejected a request from the Sethi Burhani Upliftment Trust to step in and persuade all the landlords to give their consent to the Bhendi Bazar cluster redevelopment project on the grounds that the intervention would be illegal. The government, however, said it will consider the Burhani Trust's demand for a higher FSI of four for transit tenements.

The Trust of the Dawoodi Bohra community has already received a Letter of Intent from the government for the project, which involves the redevelopment of 282 old and dilapidated buildings spread over 14 acres. The trust has purchased 80 % of the properties that fall in the redevelopment area , and the verification of tenants of 168 buildings is complete . This meets the minimum criteria of 70% consent from landlords and tenants. The project needs the green signal from the remaining 20% properties.

"What the landlords are seeking in return for development rights is downright extortion. The government must intervene or there will be no redevelopment," said Sheikh Abdeli Bhanpurawala, secretary, Sethi Burhani Upliftment Trust.

With the urban development department's refusal to intervene , the Trust has now approached state chief minister Prithviraj Chavan with their problem. "The government is keen on cluster redevelopment, but negotiations with landlords and tenants will have to be done by the Trust," said officials. According to Bhanpurawala, the political establishment was inclined to help.

The Trust has constructed transit tenements for tenants at Anjirwadi, Mazgaon, and was given 2.5 FSI for the same. It has now sought an FSI of 4. "This is to ensure that more tenants can be moved out and the redevelopment picks up pace. We are considering the issue as once the project is completed the tenements are to be demolished," said officials.

The Trust is also seeking a reduction in marginal open spaces of a building from 4.5m to 1.5m. The reason cited is that commercial establishments need to be accommodated on the ground, first and second floors. "Beyond this, any establishment will become commercially nonviable and tenants will refuse to move in. As the the concession is being granted for single plot redevelopment under the old and dilapidated buildings redevelopment policy it can be considered here as well," said officials.

कमरी मार्ग को उज्जैन की शान बनाने का काम बोहरा समाज के धर्मगुरु डॉ. सैयदना सा. की ओर से कराया जाएगा। इस मार्ग को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानकों के अनुसार संवारा जाएगा। इसकी साज-सज्जा पर होने वाला खर्च भी धर्मगुरु वहन करेंगे। यह प्रोजेक्ट मंगलवार को बोहरा समुदाय के प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने भोपाल में मुख्यमंत्री शिवराजसिंह चौहान को सौंपा। मुख्यमंत्री ने इस पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि इस काम में शासन-प्रशासन की ओर से कानूनी रूप से पूरी तरह मददगार होगा।

नगर निगम ने सिंहस्थ तैयारी में कमरी मार्ग का चौड़ीकरण किया है। मकानों की तुड़ाई के बाद अब निर्माण कार्य किए जा रहे हैं। वार्ड 14 की पार्षद फातिमा मुस्तफा रौनक के अनुसार मंगलवार को प्रभारी मंत्री कैलाश विजयवर्गीय, राज्यमंत्री पारस जैन, महापौर रामेश्वर अखंड, उविप्रा संचालक वासुदेव केसवानी के नेतृत्व में समाज का प्रतिनिधि मंडल वल्लभ भवन में मुख्यमंत्री शिवराजसिंह चौहान से मिला। इसमें उज्जैन आमिल शेख जोएब भाई गलियाकोटवाला, भोपाल आमिल शेख जोहरभाई, मुल्ला हसन नवाब, शेक इस्माइल भाई शामिल थे। मुख्यमंत्री को मुंबई में विकसित किए गए रोड के फोटोग्राफ्स भी दिखाए गए। प्रतिनिधि मंडल को मुख्यमंत्री ने आश्वस्त किया कि धर्मगुरु डॉ. सैयदना सा. की भावनाओं के अनुरूप इस मार्ग का विकास होगा।

महापौर ने आयुक्त की बात की: महापौर ने मुख्यमंत्री से निगमायुक्त के रिक्त पद पर शीघ्र अधिकारी नियुक्त करने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने तकनीकी स्टाफ बढ़ाने की भी मांग की। उज्जैन के विकास की अन्य योजनाओं को लेकर भी चर्चा की। महापौर ने भोपाल में अन्य नेताओं से भी मुलाकात की।

for last couple of days many engineers , and persons from kothar are visiting ujjain. plan is that the road kamri marg would be developed beautifully with trees on both sides of the road, all buildings with the same specifications and colour and design. without taking displaced people into confidence the jamaat has proposed to government that no compensation need to be given to people and in exchange permission is to be granted for multistory buildings and as per design proposed by engineers from mumbai. people are encouraged to permit jamaat to construct their house as per their design free of cost and in exchange they will be provided with same area of dwelling as they were living before but jamaat will be free to constructed as many floor as they want and they have no right on the buildings. those who dont permit this are free to construct their house but only according to the design and drawing sanctioned from kothar, the truth is that many persons are not in a condition to incur so much cost to construct house as per their plan, so its a hobson's choice before mumineen here. things are becoming clear that the plan to widen road was not just a government initiative.
another interesting development here is that last thursday the amil instructed all mumineen to bring cash in friday namaz and give it as qardan hasanat to aqa maula (is it reverse qardan hasanat ?) and many mumineen did gave envelopes to amil. this is to be followed every friday.

In short, the so called "FREE" housing scheme is a hogwash as money is collected on one pretext or another !!

As per the Quran, qardan hasanat is a loan that is given to Allah. And since the bohras are giving qardan hasanat to aqa maula, that means that aqa maula is Allah. We should all bow bow bow in front of him.

The latest on Bhendi bazar project :-

Kothar has managed to vacate 3 buildings i.e. Mohamedi/Tayabi Manzil, Ebrahim Nurudin chawl and Phoolwala bldg. Mohamedi/Tayabi will be the first to be demolished to ground level because once these bldgs are demolished then people can have an unobstructed view of raudat tahera from I.R.Road which has very heavy traffic, hence maximum people can view raudat which was till now overshadowed due to these bldgs coming in its way.

The tenants are given alternate accomodation at anjir wadi, mazgaon or in lieu of which they can collect 3 years rent @ Rs.18,000/- per month. Hence it seems that a 3 year target is set for the subject redevelopment.
