Bohra Youth, Udaipur: The first torch of today’s light

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Dawoodi Bohra Youth, Udaipur: The first torch of today’s light: Mukkaddas Aamil Sheikh Abdullah Palanpuri

When Taher Saifuddin came to power Aamil of Udaipur was Mukkaddas Sheikh Abdullah Palanpuri. Till Taher Saifuddin followed steps of his four predecessors as community manager things were normal but when he started to falsely propagate that he is appointed Dai Mutlaq then Mukkaddas Sheikh Abdullah Palanpuri started a ‘halka’ (group) of his ten able pupil and taught them the entire truth of Taher Saifuddin false claim, some of those among them were:
• Mulla Kurban Hussain Raj (father of Mukkaddas Sheikh Ahmed Ali Raj)
• Father of Janab Ghulam Hussain (Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat ex-president)
• Ghulam Abbas Khaker Wala (who wrote poetry: Idhar Asger udhar Burhan, Link: http://dawoodi-bohras.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4524&start=0 )

In Udaipur, this was the first light of truth conveyed on public level.

To curb this spreading light, Taher Saifuddin sent an Aamil named Yusho Bhaisaheb, he was very mischievous and terrorized people. Mukkaddas Aamil Sheikh Abdullah Palanpuri died and was buried in Khan Ji Pheer graveyard, his grave is from the entry of graveyard premises, after the water ‘sabeel’, on the left hand side, the first grave with ‘chatri’ (stone umbrella), it is square umbreall and one of the stone in the top most side ‘chaj ja’ is not there.

On order of Taher Saifuddin, goons went to destroy the ‘chatri’ umbrella from the grave of Mukkaddas Abdulla sahib, but then immediately his pupil came at grave site and stopped those goons who have destroyed by that time one stone from grave ‘chatri’.

Taher Saifuddin plotted following to stop Bohra mumins to do ziyarat of Mukkaddas Aamil Sheikh Abdullah Palanpuri sahib: Taher Saifuddin visited many graves for ziyarat in Molae Khan Ji Pheer graveyard, and knowingly he came to the grave of Mukkaddas Abdullah grave and asked whose grave is this, he was replied, on listening reply he turned his face, didn’t do ziyarat and left so people should discuss that Molana Taher Saifuddin went there but didn’t perform ziyarat… Taher Saifuddin also propagated that Sheikh Abdullah ghost is near his grave and whoever will do his ziyarat that ghost will enter in their body!

Mukkaddas Aamil Sheikh Abdullah Palanpuri wrote a book named as ‘Riyaz a Akbar’, in it he wrote poetry in praise of Prophet Mohammed (s.a.) and Mola Ali (a.s.). These poetries are ornamented with style like: some phrases have same first and last words; some phrases have same first and last letter, etc.

There was a secret society running in Udaipur named as “Youth”, its members among few others were pupils of Mukkaddas Aamil Sheikh Abdullah sahib, when the bloody episode of Galiyakot happened and people return from Rampura without getting pardoned then those people for recognizing themselves as one group adopted the name ‘Youth’. This is how we are named: Dawoodi Bohra Youth.

Thus, all the light that Udaipur presently has, was originated from Mukkaddas Aamil Sheikh Abdullah Palanpuri sahib.

May Almighty Allah with grace of this blessed month of Ramdan may shower his mercy and blessings on grave of Mukkaddas Aamil Sheikh Abdullah Palanpuri, may Almighty Allah grant him afzalul ‘zaza’ and ‘kher’. Aameen.

Boharwadi, Udaipur (India) Mosque under Mulla Kurban Hussain Raj won case against Boharwadi Jain Temple

Rasoolpura mosque and Hindu Temple are on same street opposite to each other. ‘Fazr’ azan time and Hindu bell-beating and prayer time was clashing.

Mosque and Temple members want other party to adjust time to avoid cacophony. Matter went to court of Udaipur Maharaja. Mulla Kurban Hussain Raj (Rajnagar Wala) who had served as Pesh Imam in Rasoolpura moque for FORTY years – advocated the case for Bohras.

When consensus could not be reached, Maharaja ordered ground survey by himself, and asked both Bohras and Jains to start prayer after his arrival on spot.

On the appointed day, the time of ‘faraz’ azan came but Maharaja didn’t arrived. Mulla Kurban Hussain Raj addressed all namazi by referring Shariyat that we have to abide by Allah’s order and cannot wait for Maharaja of Udaipur thus, Bohras offered Azan on its due time.

Whereas Jains decided to abide by Maharaja’s order and wait till ‘hukum’ arrived. Hindu Jains were feeling happy that Bohras have not abided by Maharaj’s wish and said azan, so Bohras will bear the burn of Maharaja’s wrath and as Jains have abided by Royal will thus bounty will be for them.

After some time Maharaja arrived on spot, Mulla Kurban Hussain Raj and Hindu Jain Temple priest reported the status to Maharaja.

Maharaja of Udaipur gave his decisive order: Bohras are dependent on their Allah command and their time is unalterable. Whereas Jains are dependent on me and their bell-beating / prayer time is alterable. Thus, Bohras will say their ‘faraz’ azan per their practice / time and Jain temple shall not beat-bell at the same time.

very interesting facts mubarak bhai. thanks.

today's bohras (not reformists) pray not by allah's, but by syedna's commands or his family's and amil's commands. over the last 25-30 years i have dozens of times seen namaz not being done at appointed time, esp on ashura day, because the amil or zaada had not yet concluded his crap bayan and narration of false miracles and praise of syedna. not only that, praying only maghrib namaz followed by maatam and 2 rakats of namaz for syedna has become the norm whenever there is a function, dinner, or vaez after it. the eisha prayers are being conveniently dispensed away with.

where agakhanis are re-introducing namaz after a long time, bohras are slowly reducing them and instead placing more emphasis on syedna and his zaada's bayans and relays and other b.s.

Zulfiquar bhai,

I am an eye witness to the fact that, Burhanuddin sahib has divided the mosque land into small prayer-mat (musllah) size and each plot is marked with identity number. During Ramdan these plots are issued to those people who have cleared all their dues and are in good books.

On mosque gate Burhani Guards are appointed to permit entry only to pass holders.

Those people who came to attend mosque despite rain, heat or cold for all the eleven months but if they do not bear ‘Pass’ then in Ramdan they are not permitted in mosque!

In the sight of Allah all are equal – whether it is black or white, rich or poor, king or beggar. Burhanuddin sahib is discretionally stopping non-aristocratic people to offer namaz in mosque and permitting only those who are aristocratic!

I am eye witness: Burhanuddin sahib discourages people to offer Sunnat and Nafilat prayers. He will come in mosque with all materialistic flavors and then azan will be offered and no time will be given for Sunnat 6 rakat and Ikamat will be called. After offering faraz, no time for Nafilat will be given and Asar prayer will start in same fashion!!!

These actions of Burhanuddin sahib is against the teaching of Daim-ul-Islam.

Re: Janab Qutbuddin Azad

I learnt from an honourable man that Janab Qutbuddin Azad was the first person in past four-five decade to openly and vociferously revolt against the tyranny of parasite Kothar.

Janab Ismail bhai Attarwala once told me that this Qutbuddin Azad is from some place in Gujrat and they call him Qutbi Kaka.

I am very interested to learn about this unknown hero, can anyone kindly throw light on his contribution and life?

Thanks,

Mubarak
