Come together to fight

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Come together to fight

Each town or city does not have sufficient people coming together to make change happen. Everybody is afraid. By bringing together people of various towns and cities on a platform, we could garner strength. The Progressives have not linked up with bohras all over the world. They have been ensconced in their tiny world of Udaipur and a few other centers. Do they know what is happening in for example Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkatta or the innumerable small towns. Do the general bohra populace know what is happening in Udaipur. We should set up linkages with 'would be' Progressives in all major cities and towns – get information and feedback on regular basis. Exchange views, ideas, information and suggestions from them. Try and muster strength. Send regular circulars and information to everybody. There are a lot of sympathizers who may not want to come out in the open just yet. Once there are a sufficiently large number of people and when push comes to shove, we will have the numbers to be able to influence the course of events. In many cities, there are regular anonymous letters doing the rounds criticizing the local jamaat and events. The writers of these letters are the potentials. They are the disgruntled types and would willingly feed the information to everybody in town via their letters. Keep contact with these people and regularly send them circulars which will automatically be circulated in the town. People who want to oppose, do not have any forum now. Once they have a platform, they would be willing to participate – anousmously at present though.

Welcome brother/sister ultrofanatic.
Good idea. In the then hostite political circumstances our Fatemi Imams had organised "underground movement". If they could achieve their goal, we can also give it a trial.
Banswara, Ujjain, Indore, Bhopal, Godhra, Broda etc turning hotbeds of termoil. There is need to form groups of committed yougsters who can personally visit these places in time and give moral support to agitators.

Without belittling or taking away any credit from the tremendous battle raged and the incidents in Udaipur, I feel that we should now stop talking of those successes alone. The court cases, the Peerbhoys etc are all in the past. What happened then has no relevance for the youth or for that matter anybody today. These things happened almost a generation ago. Now, every conceivable thing has changed. The people and the way they think, the fanaticism, technology & communication, Kothar and its modus operandi and the psyche of bohras. Instead of talking about the same old things let us devise, think and plan of newer ways of attracting people to the PDB site and its ideologies as a first step. Though Bohras have become computer savvy now, almost 90% of bohras don't know that the Progressives have a website. Their computer usage is limited to emailing and Malumaat of course. Let us create mailing lists. Recently Sidhpuris have been going all out in their effort to for Ashara Waez there. Mailing lists have been created and information is easily passed to every body at the click of a button. Discussions, ideas, suggestions, progress reports & news have been flowing seamlessly throughout the group. “New Ideas” should be the catch word.

What a brain dead response from an abde brother.

Guy, why do we have to continue with the same paradigm? This paradigm of a personality cult based deen has brought us enough pain, Can't you think the world can exist beyond this human worshipping cult? 99.99% of the world thinks otherwise.

Ultofanatic welldone and also see the topics

http://dawoodi-bohras.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=8

In Western countries we can leverage Government instruments to give the Kothar some nightmares while in India you have the numbers.

Do not get discouraged a true civil war does not need masses just determined fighters to give good punches, aim is not for victory but a weakened opponent so as to bring them kicking and screaming to the negotiating table.

For guysam
1.who will be our dai,mazoon n mukasir.,
No one, replaced by a panel of scholars and elected officials
2.how much powers will they hold,
A constitution prescribed and managed by an elected panel
.wat bout our dress codes?will dhadi topi be the same as bohra or shall v have some modifications
A truly global community that dressing reflects modernity with modesty and guided by Quran and practices any topi and whatever type o dhadhi or none. Dressing as appropriate to practices of the land
4.will v observe moharram,
As a remembrance for all Martyrs, historical and modern day ones
5.who will set the guidelines.
Panel of experts
6.who will explain the true meaning of quran(as every 2 ppl have diff opinions on same aayat)
Plenty of research already done and a few top translations can be acceptable, while differences resolved by panel of scholars

It is my duty to make a difference and protect the oppressed even if a minority, since Allah has bestowed the knowledge, strength and skills of a highly paid career defense intelligence officer who serves his country and faith. This the least that can be done while down under.

When you say you don't want to reform, why do you come here and utter nonsense. Why don't you leave us alone to our machinations. We will talk sense into those who have it and are willing to listen. Those others who can't understand, leave us alone. We don't want to reform you. When you don't want us to bother about what Syedna Saheb is doing, why are so interested in our activities. Take your own advise. Go back into your cubby holes and stay put.

@Aziz,
Welcome back to the forum. It is your and other abde's posts that keep this forum alive. They also help the young and thinking Bohras, to understand where the truth lies. The more you post, your brain dead posts, the more you convince these youngsters that you have nothing substantial to contribute. Your posts really help the cause of the reform movement. Thanks.

Right now the prerogative should be "keep people informed". Most people don't know whats happening. Only information freely available is what the Kothar wants us to know. Let people at all levels know what we have to say. Information is the key. Out of sight out of mind is the problem. Information should get to sufficient people. There are so many of our sympathizers - if only some link could be put in place for them to hear us.

aziz, obviously it matters, otherwise why do you bother coming here to defend yr slave masters?

remain happy doing sajda to them, licking their feet and singing 'ghanu jeevo' and 'sajda tujhe wajib hai' and financing their shikar trips.. its only yr guilty conscience of being a mushrik that brings you here to save yr face.

We don't want to draw the attention of the adbes just because we are talking what seems nonsense or what is offensive to them. If we need them to listen to us and understand us, we need to talk to them in their own language. We can certainly cut the crap out of our jargon. Let us only talk about what we actually want and what change we would like to see. If we condition ourselves to talk & communicate more responsibly, I am sure we will attract more attention. Let us not keep on about the hunting trips. They may have killed a few elephants and made a few people joyous but their condemnation have certainly not taken us anywhere.

aziz. yes, you and your slave masters are very scared of progressive minded bohras. the proof? that abdes like you come here to fight, abuse, heckle and divert attention from our goals. that abdes like you spend so much time on this board worried about how their slave masters -gods- are being destroyed here and everywhere.

as for your statement about progressive minded bohras being powerless and insignificant, they dont matter etc, see their power when the mississuaga amil was kicked out with only 3 days notice and his family left crying. this is only the beginning, wait and watch...

as for your contempt for wild animals - allah's creations - being hunted and murdered in cold blood for sport by your slave master, we will all fervently pray that in your next life you are re-born as an elephant or lion who will be killed by the syedna or one of his family members. now wouldnt you like that?

Are you a hindu believing in re incarnation now ,is that why you love animals so much, knowing thats your next stage maybe a snake or scorpion considering your language.
are you a veggie ,do not wear leather,or play sports with leather involved
our contempt for wild animals then maybe starts with fact that maybe in their last birth they were progs

Read your statement :-
aziz wrote:Are you a hindu believing in re incarnation now
Followed by your immediate contradiction :-
aziz wrote:maybe starts with fact that maybe in their last birth they were progs
And for your information Islam does not believe in rebirth but Bohras do believe in the same. You have confirmed this and for more proof ask your sabak ustads and they too will confirm it and also remind you of the various occassions when your dai had expilictly stated that the 4 ustads of jamea who were expelled from the community will be reborn as dogs. This was the height of frustration when he didnt mince words and uttered absolute filth.

aziz,

i am a muslim who does not believe in reincarnation. but the syedna does and he has quoted extensively in many vaez's upon the subject.

since you are not a muslim, the same rules of birth and re-birth apply to you as they do to any other mushriq. in the next life your khaal will be definitely taken after you are murdered in cold blood as an elephant and used to make jootis for qasre aali. shouldnt you be happy about it, instead of uttering abuses?

A few dedicated emails can do a lot for us now. No need to call the soldiers.

Many abdes have accepted that there is corruption at lower levels. So let us start there. Expose, report, spread the news, email everybody about the misdeeds. Get first hand information regarding the incidents. Circulate the photos of the offenders - they should be afraid to show their faces in public. Let everyone know. Put the fear of god in them so that they will think twice before taking people for granted.

Array mamu,

Join the balance 99.9 percent? You fart, we are already with the 99.9 percent balance muslims, and are not in the category of 0.1 percent of brain dead "SABDE SYEDNA". Alhamdolillah......
as said in other threads theb real dawoodi bohras are decreasing
Actually this is a real mojiza by the kotharis and their master because it is due to their regular atrocities from time to time that is driving more of the DB Abdes to the path of reform.
so soon we will be extinct so why bother reforming us
......if it is your choice of living like the pagan arabs and be extinct like them. So be it. We have certainly invited you to think and choose for the cause of Allah, our Messenger Rasoolallah (SAW)(PBUH) and Ahlul-bayt.
somebody clever should form his own cult and cash in when we go extinct
This is already done by TS and the present syedna...and ofcourse, it will be carried forward by one of the Zadas.
No one from the reformist would be interested.

Amils are backed centrally, one has to go the top of the charts
