Jadeed Misaaq

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Bohra religion

Innovations (Bida) happens every day. Jadeed things are created every day and Bohrs are flumuxed every day. No questions asked just lap it up.

"Misaaq" is neither jadeed nor bidat. May be for you it is because you have forgotten the misaaq at "Gadeer Khum".

of course misaq will never be acceptable to wahabbis cause their ancestors were the first to break the misaq which they gave to rasullah sa and moula ali sa on ghadire, they have deleted the entire account from their history

Can you explain this sentance?
"Gadeer Khum
It has been discussed for thousand years and Majority of Muslim do not buy Shia view now or immediately after the event.

Did I hear Wahabi again?

There are 1.57 B Muslims, out of it there are -157 b Shia so 1.4 B Sunnis are Wahabi?

Dear Mr. Omabharti & aqs : Salaams

When a 14 year old boy and girl takes misaq, it is called navu(new) misaq. But when an older man/woman renews her misaq, it is called Jadeed. Those older than 14 years of age normally give misaq 3 times a year, so they are renewing their oath/misaq. Misaq is also given when new Dai takes the reigns of Dawat and this one is compulsory on all those who were already in misaq to the previous Dai.

The first misaq taken by a boy or girl is simply called misaq.

Correct Arabic for the renewal of misaq should actually be referred to as tajdeed al-misaq.

Mr. Porus stop wasting time on the vocabulary and talk about the heart and very essence of Misaaq. Or may be you are showing some color of Ahle-Zahir.

misak three times a year just does not make sense. once you have graduated and hold the degree there is no need to give the exam again and again. ; and who gains by having misaak taken three times a year?

Jadeed or no jadeed or tajdeed ......... does not matter. Misaaq is just a tool, a symbol, an oath to say that from NOW ON I am your SLAVE and I will continue to be your SLAVE .......... and thats it. Misaaq' aim is to KILL one's self-respect and dignity ......... and that is why it is repeated over and over again .......... kill two birds with one stone ....... MAKE more and more money in SALAMS and renew the oath of Slavery, crush a person's soul, imprint that he or she are SLAVES ...

And What Ghadeer-e-Khum you are talking about ............. it is just Shia interpretation ....... fascination ....... nothing or that sort happen.

And do not talk of Misaaq from the days of Prophet. He can to break slavery and idol worship, he came with a Religion to FREE people ........ your Misaaq and interpretations are all making and pointing towards one thing - we are SLAVES of Maual, in fact you say you are Bind-e-Maula (Abdes) and not Bind-e-Khuda ......... what Misaaq your are talking about??!!
