Aali Qadar Mufaddal Maula will lead the Hajj 2012

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

It is annouced that Aali Qadr Mufaddal Maula will be the Ameerul Hajj and his arrival is schedule next week in Madina. Mumineen performing hajj this year are quite lucky to perform hajj under the auspecious guidance of Mufaddal Maula. A grand reception will be held and Madina on 12th of October. Bohra resident all over the kingdome has been asked to deposite their "FIXED UNIT OF NAJWA" within two days. Meetings were held in Makkah and Madina besides the other Cities of Saudi Arabia. SMS has been sent to all the mumineen asking them to contribute for Najwa As Shukur/Ziafat. Mashaikh & Mafasih Family SR. 2552 Each Mumineen Family SR.1552 and Bachelor SR. 452 contribution is Compulsory. In Jeddah the unit has been fixed SR. 1152 while some individual will contribute hefty amount for the purpose. Hajis will have to bear some extra burden beside usual salam and raza lifafos and few has been heard saying to cut short their shopping list. Each family has been asked to collect "QADAMBOSI CARD" upon deposit of contribution.

So what happens to HAQIQI KABA?
It seems that this year Abdes will be paying more attention to the deedar of Mansoos during the Hajj then doing the real Hajj
Wonder if Progticide-Adam-Profstian have any comments of these Najwas and Qadamboosi during the Hajj.

relatives of bohras who sadly passed away during haj during the recent past and are buried in saudi are eagerly waiting to hear their news from jannat, as muffi mola is well known for his divine ability to converse with dead mumeneen.

all such bohra families, desirous of wanting to know how their dear departed are faring in heaven, have been requested to deposit 52153/= IRS or equivalent with their respective jamaat haj committees or amils. muffy mola will then communicate with these souls and reports will be filed upon his return from haj.

As part of their PRO exercise, Muffy and other zaadas normally see to it that some govt officials visit them. It will be interesting if the saudi officials are invited on the day when abdes are busy doing qadambosi !!

They may be interested in knowing more about this

They are also known as CPVPV; هيئة الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر in Arabic and formerly called the Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and the Elimination of Sin

"converse with dead mumeneen" Oh no! poor dead mumeens, after death also no riddance from kothar. I wonder what he will say to them, may be he will tell them to appear in the dreams of their family members and tell them to give sabit rakam in najwa /salaam to their maula.

In all probablity he will be flying from Dubai for Hajj. Dubai jamaat has gone in extra over drive to collect najwas, every one is instructed to offer wada and shukur najwas. Preparations are on for Friday namaaz in Burhani Masjid Qusais.

the practice or tradition of wada, seeing off bohras going to hajj or on ziyarat tours to bohra religious places where our illustrious ancestors are buried such as past nabis, imams and dais, those who sacrificed their lives for our faith while being in the employ and service of past imams etc, was primarily to: 1. pay our respects and express our joy at their good fortune, 2. give them monetary and material sustenance during their long and ardous journeys during those ancient times when it was not uncommon for many who embarked on such pilgrimages to suffer fatalities, sickness and be subjected to violent theft and penury. 3. when it was quite common that we may never set eyes again upon these departing pilgrims, for many would die along the way or settle in far off foreign lands never to return. remember there were no visas or travel and immigration restrictions then.

i remember during my childhood when my parents made dozens of visits to houses of relatives, friends and even casual acquaintances who were going on such trips, with bottles of jam and sherbets, home made achars and chutneys, and all manner of homemade biscuits etc which could be preserved and consumed on the long journey. the closer the relations, the better the gifts, often accompanied with a cover of money. those were the days when passengers could carry large steel trunks with no restrictions on weight or pieces, onto ocean going 'steamers', and passengers actually carried these gifts with them. they were a great blessing and a fond reminder of home and loving families. journeys often lasted several months and money often ran short.

in today's world, all material comforts are available, we travel in luxury, we travel with all sorts of restrictions, baggage rules, visas, passports, we carry credit cards and mobile phones. we stay in comfortable hotels and hostels, we are back in a couple of weeks. most bohras today are well-off and do not need salaams of money and foods etc to help them on their journey.

this whole custom is outdated and no longer useful. it also places stress on the travellers as they have to receive dozens of visitors and to top it all, they have to shop for return gifts for all those who came for 'wada'.

for the mansoos to expect to be given wada salaams is not only strange, but smacks of greed and shamelessness. for someone rolling in billions and living a life of luxury to be given money is not only unnecessary, but self-serving, as its just another avenue to make money from gullible fools. if its your birthday, you are happy if you get gifts, you don't demand them. but hey, why lose an opportunity to milk some more loot when there are idiots galore?

Kothar forgot to mention that when people do the WADHWA then the recipients of Wadhawo also bring small token of gifts and give it to people who remembered. Just wonder what would Mansoos give except Qadamboosi and Deedar
Progticide: How shameless these people are now they are asking Abdes to come and give Wadhawo after doing Ziyaafats on Faazil Raats during Ramadan if this is not SAUDABAZI or trading what else do you call?

pesticide will have only one and predictable reply. YOU ARE A MUNAFIQ!

how dare you expect mansoos to give you gifts? isnt deedar enough? and using words like 'saudabaji' will only make pesticide call you a double munafiq!

Getting back to AZ,
Many times these ships going to Kerbala would have a stopover at some of the Gulf countries. There again at the ports friends and relatives would meet each other after decades and fresh food tiffins would be given and even fried items as they would be preserved for more days. Going for Hajj was a dangerous affair as the inhabitants would loot the pilgrim caravans and take the women as slaves and kill the men. The journey from India took months and for the Muslims of Central Asia ,it was an ardous task. Many settled down in Arabia and you can see their descendants in Mecca. Even the priesthood were simple then.

There are strong rumours that this year the mansoos has decided to parade the dai to Dubai for the annual mohurrum tamasha and that preparations are going on in full swing. After all, the oil and gas prices are once again rocketing and dubai seems to be limping back to normalcy after the real estate bust ! No other oil producing country will allow the dai to conduct vayez and dubai is the only option.

Walking stick belonged to Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS.
He gifted it to Syedi Mufaddal BS when departing for haj.
Syedi Saheb used this stick while performing Haj.

There was a time long ago, when Abu Hanifa refused kiss the walking stick of Imam Jafar al Sadiq AS.

Adam must have been schooled by Britishers when can not argue use DIVIDE AND RULE
In this stance when he and his cohorts are unable to reply sensibly they insert Shia-Sunni-Mushrik-Munafiq-Wahabi-Salafi labeling of people
THE QUESTION IS SINCE WHEN DID IT BECOME ISLAMIC TO KISS THE WALKING STICK OF A DAI BEFORE GOING TO HAJJ, A NEW INNOVATION just like doing Maatam in front of frame of some stones (Malekul Ashtar doing and posted some where on this forum)

this stick is nothing but the calf which sameri made in absense of Moses, and declared this is GOD.

I know jhailin will make rush to kiss this stick and may be some will claim it has divine powers....

get prepared to hear some weird stories of people getting cured by just touching this stick : )

I ask for protection from Allah from this jhalat....Ameen

adam, if everything which belongs to the syedna or has been touched by him is sacred and worth kissing and revering, then whats the difference if hindus build a temple around the wooden slippers of a saint and revere it? or they erect a statue in the likeness of a great man and bow and pray in front of it?

are the days far when the garments of the eventually marhoom 52nd dai will be framed and hung in some mausoleum and abde bohras will come to kiss, pray in front of it and revere it? any sane rational person will not see any difference between this practice and the idolatry of the pagan religions like hinduism.

as for your contemptous comment: "You guys are of the same lot. As then as now." i think it applies better to the jaahils who worshipped hundreds of idols and artifacts inside the kaaba before it was cleansed of the filth by allah's prophets. "You guys are of the same lot. As then as now."

any reason why Imam Hanifa needed to kiss a stick? Do you learn such Garbage in Sabaks?
imam Abu Hanifa showed that objects carried or touched by Muslim personalities have no significance. Imam Hanifa did not believe in Imamat. I am sure he did not find any Aya in Quran or a clear Ahadith regarding Imamat.
