learn from Hussain(s) to stand for justice

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Today, ask yourself the most important question you’ll ever ask: what do I stand for? What do I believe in? Give it a thought – don’t just jump in. More importantly, ask yourself: what would I stand up for? Don’t mistake this for what you’re passionate about, but instead ask yourself: what is it that rouses that innate part of me? It may take a while, or maybe you already know…

I bet you’re probably thinking justice, equality… The usual stuff. And that’s fair enough. But ask yourself, at what point would you take a stand? Maybe if your own rights were ignored? Maybe the rights of your family? How about a friend or neighbour?

The real question is: How far would you go? What would you give? It’s easy to imagine and mentally play out scenarios where we make our stand and do the right thing – but when it comes down to it, things never quite play out as heroically… Right?

Well, that’s what separates us from people like Martin Luther King, who campaigned for racial equality of an oppressed race… Or Mahatma Ghandi who sought civil liberties through peaceful protest… Or Mohammed Bouazizi in Tunisia – who sparked the Arab spring. These people rose up while others remained silent – they realised their situation, and made their stand
All these people gave what seemed to be the ultimate price, for causes they held so dear… But in the year 680 AD, there stood a man called Hussain. Surrounded and heavily outnumbered, Hussain, his family and companions made their final stand… But instead of rising up to defend his own rights and freedoms, or those of his family, Hussain stood up for something different – something that sets him apart.

The tyrannical rulers had infiltrated their way to authority through illicit and corrupt means. Like the dictatorships of today, they plundered the resources and ignored the people – but Hussain did not rise. Rather, once he saw the corruption and injustice seep its way into the very fabric of society – when he saw the principles of honesty, justice and equality abandoned by the people – Hussain knew something had to be done. The authorities were fearful of his influence and threatened him: comply or be slain. For Hussain, this was no choice at all… He made his final stand, and gave his life for the cause he believed in.

Hussain’s rise against oppression and the moral decay of society sparked a revolution… Seeing the sacrifice of Hussain, the people rose up and won back their freedom. Today Hussain is remembered by millions across the globe – not just for his bravery, but for what he stood for. Hussain saw society and morality crumbling all around him and he knew something had to be done. His inspiration and message live on till today…

I learned from Hussain how to be wronged and be a winner, I learnt from Hussain how to attain victory while being oppressed.

Khudaparast,

Link above is false representation of Molana Imam Hussain a.s. - the misguided people were beating themselves in the name of Imam Hussain a.s., beating with knives/swords is akin to doing sucide which is indeed severe sin in the sight of Allah and his Prophet and their Fatimi progeny. Your "khulasa" above on Imam Hussain a.s. is like wine (haraam = breast beating / hitting by knives = sucide) made out of grapes (Halaal = Imam Hussain a.s.).

you must be blind, that you cant see the TRUE MESSAGE of HUSSAIN, yet you are just busy in sectism and splitting people in the name of religion and different philosophies.....HUSSAIN was neither SHIA nor SUNNI nor BOHRA.

HUSSAIN taught to fight aginst injustice and stand for truth and not to get involve in idol worshiping and just to worship ALLAH alone, apart from this CLEAR message, every thing is fabricated by mullahs of different times.

No, I am not blind. Prophet s.a.w.w., Ali a.s., Hussain a.s. and Hussain a.s. progeny of Fatimi Imams a.s. and Dai's (a.q.) - all have taught alike and same message. (Note: Kothar is not Dawoodi Bohras).

Your link give videos where misguided people are doing massive "short suicide attempt" by beating themselves with knives and swords and irony is they are shouting name of Imam Hussain a.s. - this is sin and not standing against idol worship or other factors! Thus, you have incorrectly wrote that that is the "Khulasa"!!!

The true message of Hussain a.s. - we Dawoodi Bohras who are the real Hussaini, we knows. U have to refer our books to learn to know who Imam Hussain a.s. was. Others cannot go beneath surface of martyr of Imam Hussain a.s. and that's why many get misguided and do "Sucide attempt" (= chest and head beating).

Only we have the true and correct "khulasa" of who Imam Hussain a.s. was. Only we DB are Hussaini in real sense. (Kothar is not DB, they are enemy #2 of DB).

There are several videos in that webpage. When one video ends it displays links for several other vidos uploaded on Youtube - under the same page that you refer. In one of them I saw what I wrote.

Nevertheless, should you like to learn who really Hussain a.s. was then the only true and precise source is our (DB) literature. These websites are incomplete, misrepresent and misguide. We have the faculty of "Batin", "Haqiqat" - rest all sects are poor in knowledge, and manufactured for lust of power and money politics. Bohra's (Fatimi Dawat) is the real and only true Islam.

yes daim is waste of time, if you dont even understand what is written in QURAAN...

QURAAN is the basic source for all muslemin, and if from DAIM u have just learnt to split people in the name of sectism, then u have wasted whole of your life.

I am sure writer of DAIM never intended to write a book to split people, but it was written for the betterment of muslim society, but morons like you used this great book to split people.

U seems to be confused - u contends that reading Daim is waste of time and in next sentence says Daim was written for the betterment of Muslim society!

Quran is the basic source for all Muslimeen but only DB acted per Quran and rest everyone who claim to be associated with Islam went astray! Proof: Quran 2:184.

if others went astray then try to call them on trruth, rather then calling them names and just bluffing arround that you have truth and all others are wrong....

DAIM was written for betterment of muslim society, but **** like you used it to split people in groups and to create fitnas.

and the same thing u did with this thread, this thread was created to give lesson of humanity and to fight for justice, but ur stupid comments draged it to thread of sectism....

Bro khudaparast,

Let this Frog-ki-backside shower as much abuse as possible as it strengthens our claims as to what this cult has become which the world can see for itself. Allow these retards to spew as much venom as possible as it truely displays their frustrations, they dont have this liberty on their master's websites so let them make a fool of themselves here. After all these Frog-ki-backsides are capable of only doing tarr tarr tarr within their tiny pond earmarked for them by their masters and are not allowed to venture out lest they experience large seas and rivers and realise how they have been fooled, duped, extorted and raped royally by their masters all through their life !!
