Future of Dawoodi Bohras

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

I am a progressive so their ayyashi is not my concern.
Its their own money they are wasting, not mine.

However the ayyashi does seem to be a major concern for you.
So what have you done to surely help stop it sbm?

Did it ever occur to you that ISIS get happiness beheding people so according to you we should let them do it.
Hitler got happiness by killing millions of Jews and the world let him do it so according to you it should be okay

It may be okay for you and your likes to be slave but not for civilized people
Im sorry but as an analogy, that stinks to high heaven.

No one is getting beheaded, no one is getting killed by the millions.

That is what exactly Pharoh-Yazid and Idi Amin did and many thought people carrying Idi Amin in Palkhi were getting happiness in the world but did it occur to you that it was just a Facade of happiness on their faces rather in their heart
From the looks of it, you seem even more unhappy than the people here. Go away and stop bothering so much about the fate of Dawoodi Bohras, maybe then you will find some happiness.

i fail to see the reason behind editing and deleting our comments.

we (CT, SBM and i) have the good sense to not be vulgar and abuse the freedom, unlike the resident virus you allow to flourish here like fungus

instead of censoring our comments, (and by the way, i have said nothing wrong to SBM bhai, and he knows i have a healthy amount of respect for him) i think you should spend more time in cleaning up the riff raff on the board

noorbhai, lets face facts, you have crossed your limits many times.

there is certain decorum that is to be mantained while having discussions. there is a lot of trash that floats around on this forum and if everyone behaves the same way, then there is no distinguishing us from them or vica verca

anonymity does not mean you have a license to say anything that comes to your head. often what one says reflects their upbringing, this holds true for both sides of the fence

There is no worry about future of dawoodi bohras or anyone for that matter. the past , present and future of bohra is entertainment in guise of religious satisfaction. roti banaao sawaab kamaao !

it seems better than other socio-religious clubs. and much much better than stuck up violent extremist self-declared reighteous imposing hypocritical idealogic sycophant - aka wahabiees

There is no concern for the future of dawoodi bohrah's. They know how to integrate the next generation into the system - they have been doing this for years. They deliberately give 'positions of power' to younger mumineens so that they feel valued and so that they have some stronger form of connection to the religion and the particular masjid as a whole.
I for one, can't see this religion declining anytime soon. Kids are being taught the basics at a very young age and I remember doing that too when my parents made me learn it - luckily, I had a better education in a non-bohra mosque therefore I know Arabic back to front so I managed to learn all the bohra stuff but they are increasing everything and that includes 'education' in their mosques too.
Here where I live, they are forcing us to pay up to fund a new madrasah - even those families that don't have kids. They are starting to realise (very slowly) that they have to get their foundations correct if they want to build something that will last.

there is no chogadiya or auspicious timings in islam.
every day and minute is same created by Allah.
yes , may be useful as namaaz timings.
