Although I agree with spirt of your comment, I think the quotes are not applicable to the da'i al-mutlaq. In the time of the Fatimids, when the Imams were in zahir, there were many da'is. This paragraph is applicable to them. When the imam is in parda, the da'i al-mutlaq occupies the seat of the imam, and in fact, is the imam for all practical purposes. In this case, one should not, and can not apply, these standards.

Note that I am not defending Mr. Muffadul (LA). In fact, even the imam has not made these absurd claims. There is only one "maalik" of everything. He is not human. However, these types of code-of-conducts don't apply to da'i al-mutlaq.

I have no problems with wadhawa limited to what's done at home on occasions of birthdays and marriages. Routinely doing it to Aamils & Muffy etc is not required.
