Come, come, whoever you are.
Wanderer, idolator, worshipper of fire, come even though you have broken your vows a thousand times,
Come, and come yet again. Ours is not a caravan of despair.

in the Holy Quran - Allah says:
"Inna deena indalahil-Islam." (Certainly, the only acceptable way which Allah will accept is Islam). [Holy Quran 3:19]

"It is not fitting for the believing man nor for the believing woman, that whenever Allah and His Messenger have decided any matter, that they should have any other opinion."

Imam Ali (a.s) told his son, Imam Hassan (as): "0h my son! No wealth is more valuable than intelligence and no poverty is similar to ignorance; no terror is worse than arrogance, and no life is more pleasant than being good tempered."

There’s a hidden sweetness
in the stomach’s emptiness.
We are lutes, no more, no less.
If the sound box is stuffed
full of anything, no music.
If the brain and the belly
are burning clean with fasting,
every moment a new song
comes out of the fire.
The fog clears, and a new
energy makes you run up the
steps in front of you.
Be emptier and cry like
reed instruments cry.
Emptier, write secrets with
the reed pen.
When you’re full of food and drink,
Satan sits where your
spirit should, an ugly metal
statue in place of the spirit.
When you fast, good habits gather
like friends who want to help.
Fasting is Solomon’s ring.
Don’t give it to some illusion
and lose your power.
But even if you’ve lost all
will and control, they come
back when you fast,
like soldiers appearing out
of the ground, pennants
flying above them.
A table descends to your
tent, Jesus’s table.
Expect to see it, when you
fast, this table spread with
other food better than the
broth of cabbages.

Shia Pain - Our Tryst With Hussain

Our lives pledged
to ghame hussain
live like ali die
like hussain
a mantra we repeat
again and again
to our detractors
who call us heretics
rafidis and insane
we relive
every moment
of ashura karbala
from the cradle
to the grave
our souls manacled
to Abid's chains
peace succor
we obtain
our weeping
eyes tear-stained
Hussain is humanity
being human
being humane
the message
of hussain
more than
this i can't
explain
to yazids
children
ill begotten
still remain
shia hating

Once the Prophet (s) asked his companions: “What is the strongest handhold in Islam?” The companions gave different answers: some said prayers, others said fasting and others hajj. After they gave their answers, they said: “The Prophet and Allah know best”. So the Prophet answered: “To love for the sake of Allah and to dislike for the sake of Allah.”

If you show your rosary beads and allege that the beads have been strung by themselves, and nobody has strung them, everybody will laugh at you. Worse is when you take out your pocket watch and allege the same. What then, can be said about the one who claims that the world order, or rather this man and the system of his body and spirit, have come to exist by themselves?

*If I Had My Child to Raise Over Again*
by Diane Loomans

If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd build self esteem first, and the house later.
I'd fingerpaint more, and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I would care to know less and know to care more.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging and less tugging.
I'd see the oak tree in the acorn more often.
I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.
I'd model less about the love of power,
And more about the power of love.

“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn’t exist.”
This quote is actually the single most wrongly quoted quote ever. The entire world, except the 5% who are atheists, believes in the existence of the devil. Every muslim believes in the existence of the devil and every christian believes in the existence of the devil and every jew believes in the existence of the devil!!

.:: My Beloved ::..

There was a time in my youth,
When Islam was only a custom.
They said "say La IIaha IIIa Allah"
And pray, you'll go to Heaven."

Ah, how simple, no struggle in this,
Just a word, and simple act.
Thereafter I'm absorbed in this world again,
With my 'assured' place in Paradise intact.

But this was not to be my fate
For ALLAH chose to guide my heart.
I learnt of a man who struggled so hard
When his mission was from the start.

Spoke gently, kindness he knew.

Never fearing to say what's right,
His conviction in ISLAM was true.

The touch of his hand was as soft as silk
To comfort a crying child.
To mend his clothes, or do the chores,
Never complaining, he always smiled.

A living he made with his bare hands,
The same that held his mighty sword.
Valour shone from the edge of his blade,

His smell was always of musk,
And cleanliness he kept at his best.
Stark contrast with the heroes of today,
Who stink of beer and sweat.

He held the hands of his companions.
Unashamed to play with many children.
So modest, so humble, a perfect example,
That strangers could not recognize him.

His eyes slept little for nights were precious,
His prayers he treasured much greater.
To pray Tahajjud in the depths of night,
Seeking forgiveness, and nearness to His Creator.

He broke his tooth for me at Uhud,
And bled for me at Ta'if.
He cried for me, tears of concern,
JUST SO I COULD HAVE THIS BELIEF!!

HIS ENEMIES ADMIRED HIS TEACHING,
Uniting every religion, every clan.
Till ISLAM came to every corner of the world,
O, BUT INDEED HE WAS ONLY A MAN..

To own a palace or build his wealth
WAS NOT HIS MAIN PRIORITY..
To establish ISLAM was more essential,
To bring us under a Higher Authority.

Don't you want him to plea for your case,
When before ALLAH-The Judge-you stand?
Don't you wish to be around his fountain,
A burning desire to drink from his hand?

So I love him more than all creation,
My Leader, my Humble Prophet.
Muhammad (PBUH)* was a mercy to all mankind,
And to me, he is ... MY BELOVED !

(PBUH)* - (peace be upon him)

HOW A SON THINKS OF HIS FATHER AT DIFFERENT AGES.

At 4 Years-- My daddy is great.

At 6 Years-- My daddy knows everybody.

At 10 Years-- My daddy is good but is short tempered

At 12 Years-- My daddy was very nice to me when I was young.

At 14 Years-- My daddy is getting fastidious.

At 16 Years-- My daddy is not in line with the current times.

At 18 Years-- My daddy is becoming increasingly cranky.

At 20 Years-- Oh! Its becoming difficult to tolerate daddy. Wonder how Mother
puts up With him.

At 25 Years-- Daddy is objecting to everything.

At 30 Years-- It's becoming difficult to manage my son. I was so scared of my
father When I was young.

At 40 Years-- Daddy brought me up with so much discipline. Even I should do
the same.

At 45 Years-- I am baffled as to how my daddy brought us up.

At 50 Years-- My daddy faced so many hardships to bring us up. I am unable to
manage A Single son.

At 55 Years-- My daddy was so far sighted and planned so many things for us.
He is One Of his kind and unique.

At 60 Years-- *My daddy is great. *Thus, it took 56 years to complete the
cycle and come back to the 1st. Stage. Realize the true value of your
parents before its too late.

Al Fatiha clearly states: God is the master of the day of judgement, not we. And thus it isn't the books, the scholars or the imams that can judge every aspect of life for theirs is only a human interpretation of God's law, it isn't God's law itself.
