What is the point of driving 4 hours to listen to a relay waaz? Relay...technology allows waaz to be played everywhere. Why Bakersfield? It's in the middle of nowhere and compared to San Jose, Bakersfield is a cow town, you can smell the cow shit for miles around. This is the email we received from our aamil.

My suspicion is that it has something to do with the kids. They probably have local visitation and want to display the kids in public under false pretenses. Why else Bakersfield? What's in Bakersfield? Muffy has not even bothered to ifteta the masjid but he does want to hold a Waaz relay there!

I am increasingly convinced that they are hoping to impress the kids by the size of their following and all the extra attention. The kids are smart though. They will be able to hold off, not sure for how long.

The plight of bohri's.
In other cities of u.s. people are asked to come to houston to listen to relayed maktal bayaan.. mumineen are confused. why make a trip to houston when the same vaez can be heard in their own town. the reason is as per chuster; they will have more sawaab, allah will fulfill all their wishes and they will have lots and lots of barakaat and all their worries will be over. So go ahead and take leave from job, close your stores and spend the money on the plane ticket and come to houston. do not worry about spending the money , you will get it back multifold.
bottom line chuster wants a big crowd in houston for ashura and it is his dirty trick to prevent people from listening to the dawedaar's waez.

For those IN USA who are stranded due to cancellation of waez in many locations can still observe Ashura with respect and honor, and listen to zikr-e-Imaam Husain for the next 3 days by any one of the following:

Option A Go to any SHIA majlis or gathering - there are plenty, I have heard, in major metropolitan areas of Chicago, San jose, Los Angeles, NY, Detroit. Etc. in these Shia majlises, be prepared to go with lots of tissue, you will likely cry your heart out for Imam Husain and kafela. (can ssomeone Please post links to specific locations if they know of any?). It might be a viable option for many who cannot or will not travel to Houston, Bakersfield, Los Angeles to listen to SMS with risk of listening to his rage.

option B. For those more interested in traditional Bohra Majlis, Taher BS waez on YouTube is another viable option, without any extra psychological baggage, or financial or time commitments. As far as I can tell there is no tracking of ID, AND best of all, you don't need to jump ship, nor commit to anything whatsoever, nor pledge allegiance to SKQ either. Here is the link to the YouTube:

They also cancelled waez (on 7th and planned to cancel all waaz till Ashura) in Dallas (a big jamat with masjid) and San Antonio and forced people to go to Houston to listen waez. This backfired with people revolting big time. Peace was restored with raza granted again for waaz in Dallas.. Waaz still remains cancelled in San Antonio, I think... Absolutely big blunder...

I hope someday, Kothar's downfall comes due to a big big blunder...

I strongly urge to listen to the waaz of Sh. Taher BS. His waaz is uniformly excellent, and informative. It is much better than wasting time and listening to the Yazeed, Mr. Muffadul (LA) in any case. He will shout, scream and rant, like a baboon after a banana. Just ignore him, and turn on your computer and point it to youtube. It is better to be home and observe the occasion solemnly than participate in this Yazeedi drama.
