Abdes have become daris, majlis, and matam addicts. They show similar behavior as that shown by drug addicts. And this serves the interests of the dawat power horses very well. Keep 'em high and enjoy ruling!

Salam-e-Jameel

In order to provide a secured access to masjid doors, Anjuman-E-Shujaee, Houston will be providing wallet sized door access cards/key chain access cards to mumineen. These cards will allow access to common entrances of the masjid and mawaid as indicated in the attached pdf.

Each head of family of registered jamaat members will be provided one door access card free of cost. Additional cards can be purchased for $5 each and key chain tag for $ 10 each.

Distribution of the cards will be done on the following Saturdays (March 12th, 19th, & 26th) between 9:30 am - 10:30 am near the madrassah entrance, within madrassah premises.

If you already have a door access card provided during Ashara 1437, please bring it for its reactivation.

These access cards will need to be renewed every Ramadan.

When you come to collect your cards, kindly submit a completed form for your car EZ-Tag registration. Please print this completed form even if you have filled out an online form previously, as these will be verified again with existing list. This may be a good time to add or delete any cars from your house hold access. Changes will be done promptly. Car registration form can be accessed using the link below.

Br Tayyab
I think this done for security reasons and many Mosques in USA (both Shia and Sunni) have to install security systems due to vandalism by TRUMPMANIA. Remembers Seattle Markaz was vandalized so was a Markaz in Texas too
There are many Masaajids where they have installed a code button entrance and board members of the Masaajid grant access to people once they are satisfied that they are there for good reason thru their cell phone.
As a matter of fact Homeland Security is providing Grants to Churches and places of worships to install security system.

In the guise of security People are weeded out on their payment status. If its for security why it needs to be renewed every Ramazan? because in ramazan they collect Wajebaat so if you want entry you have to pay all your dues same as in Gulf countries where they give masalla space only when last years all dues are cleared.

Yes, that could be a reason but there were cases of vandalism before Ashara and hence they put this security system in place. Anways, space inside the gated masjid complex is limited n is first come first serve basis apart from reserved spaces for Zada, Aamil, chamchas n Shaikhs. There is option to park outside in an ungated parking lot. During big miqaats or during Ramdaan, majority people park outside!

Roza Kaffarat

May 28, 2016

Mumineen and muminaat who have to give kaffarat for last Ramadan’s roza should give their amount with their name, and number of rozas written on the envelope, latest by Wednesday June 1st to Janab Aamil saheb, so that it can be sent out before 1st of Ramadan. Kaffarat is $3.00 per roza.

in simple terms, its what you give in return/repentance for a roza or rozas that you may have missed during Ramzan. it could be money (as is the case here) but my mum follows a more fruitful solution. she donates 1kg of wheat and sugar for every roza that she misses to some poor family in bhendi bazar.

Salaam,

Hope this answers your question.
Kaffarah is a ransom, feeding of indigent and not the koṭhari mafias.

Ramadan Mubarak

(Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.

Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

lets all have some fun. create fictional email accounts on gmail, hotmail or whatever, then send emails to houston jamaat accounts as above and request login invites. do this en masse' and confuse the hell out of the damn leaches. quote fictitious ejamaat/ITS numbers and names and get them busy trying to figure out who these hordes of abdes are, suddenly houston jamaat has scores of new members...??? in fact, we can repeat this exercise for one jamaat anywhere every week. send emails to amils, to their accounts, to committee members etc...what say? :P
