Demolition of Saify Mohalla Mosque in Indore

There is a mosque at saify mohalla indore which was built nearly 25 years ago. The mosque is at present in excellent condition and fulfills all the requirements of local residents.recently there was an announcement that this mosque shall be demolished and a new mosque will be constructed in its place.the local jamat maintains that it is being done with the raza mubarak of moula. Now the question arises that what is the need to demolish such a good mosque?are there some ulterior motives of jamat members?could it be in the form of commissions accrued in demolishing and constructing?would it not be more appropriate to construct new mosques at localities in dire need of mosques? Can the demolition be stopped as it is a wakf property?

take that reply to house of other residents, you alone can't stop these stooges, get some following of like minded people, tell people how case is going on and right now no NEW projects can be initiated, and if they do, it will get halted for long years.

at first sight it looks like they want to make money out of this NEW project.

This is nothing new, it is another way of making money. Some years back, there was a plan to pull down Qutbi Masjid at Bhendi Bazar which was in an excellent condition. The Shahi Bhikaris started going door to door collecting money and when they went to a rich bohra, Parda Automobiles at Chor Bazar, the owner volunteered to bear the entire expense of building the Masjid. Even after taking money from him they still continued their collection drive and collected a huge amount. Needless to say that the amount collected was enough to build 10 such masjids which were pocketed by the mafias of Saifee Mahal. Same is the case with every other Masjids and also Saifee Hospital which attracted amounts which could build 100 such hospitals, an example is the Rs.52 crores given by a SINGLE person, Mustafa Dahodwala of USA and yet NO bohra gets free treatment here.

So forget the crap about welfare, concern and mola nu ehsan..... its all about MONEY, MONEY and MONEY !!

One example is Houston: It was the wish of people living near Tomball (a suburb of Houston) to build a 2nd mosque there. This Tomball area is inhabited by majority of the rich bohra doctors - the bread and butter of Houston jamaat. The 2nd masjid plan had the blessings (Raza) of the Late Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (RA) and Malek Bhai saheb. However, the jamaat members of the main masjid who feared diversion of capital to Tomball area vetoed the plan for 2nd masjid and now they have built a big masjid by demolishing the old masjid that was hardly a decade old and in good shape, however very small.
