A Saudi preacher who raped his five-year-old daughter and tortured her to death has been sentenced to pay “blood money” to the mother after having served a short jail term, activists said on Saturday

The news article says - "The ruling is based on Islamic laws that a father cannot be executed for murdering his children, nor can husbands be executed for murdering their wives," ....where does this Islamic law comes from...????

Aymelek,

If you read the article, you will notice that it says

The ruling is based on Saudi laws that a father cannot be executed for murdering his children, nor can husbands be executed for murdering their wives,

It does not say "Islamic" law.

Havent we heard, Saudia Follows strict interpretation and implementation of Islamic shariaah ?

This is what wahaabi morons can resort to. I m sorry for generalizing, but such is state of thinking of wahaabis in every country be it middle east or secular countries like india.

Br. Anajmi,

The article initially read Islamic laws, however it has been subsequently edited to read as Saudi Laws.

It is most pathetic that these things happen by the so called guardians of faith. What is more shocking is that the die hard wahhabis of the forum have decided to keep totally quiet and not comdemn the ruling in any way. However these same hate mongers will jump into any debate regarding the bohra community and try to spread the dawah which stipulates such horrific laws. And the once banned, theysend PM to propogate their beleifs even further.

Apparently, just like other idiots on this forum, the author of this article too doesn't know the difference between Islam and Saudi-ism!! Somebody obviously made him realize his mistake.

Please do not equate or interprete Saudi Arabia equal to an Ideal Islamic State. Similarly Wahabisim is not True Islam.
In the same way Sunnis, Shia, Bohras or whatever happens in Middle East, India or Pakistan is not the true representation of Islam.
Every sect, every country has its limitations.

NOBODY carries 'Rights of Admission Reserved' on Islam.
