Mukhtar Al Saqafi

Why does DBs doesnt know much about the legendary Mukhtar Al Saqafi. As he was the one who took revenge for the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain (A.S) and supported Muhammed Ibn Ali Ibn Abi talib in Mecca. There are a very few DBs who know about him, and those who know him, they hate him. And they dont even know why they actually hate him. May be because some Mullahs have ordered them not to mention his name and just forget about him. Need you opinion on this brothers in faith.

According to Dawoodi Bohras, Mukhtar is Munafiq, as he fought without the permission of the Imam. He was interested in power and command only, so he used Qisas of Husain as a shield for his government. Bohra Mullas strictly asks Zaereen not to do Ziarat of Mukhtar as Burhanuddin Saheb says he is Munafiq. They send on him Lanat in Waaz.

Mukhtar also plotted to get Imam Hasan a.s. arrested to Mawiya in temptation to get reward from Mawiya.

Crap !

No La'anat is recited on Mukhtar by Syedna (tus). Nafisa get your facts clear before posting !

Do not show your ignorance here. If you go to the ziyarat tour of Karbala, the faize appointed Mullasahab / Guide will specifically tell you not to perform Mukhars ziyarat. Not only that, he will also explain that amongst one of the many misdeeds of Mukhtar was that he had also declared himself a prophet of Allah ! This declaration is blasphemous and warrantees death . Laanat is a lesser punishment

What I have found in my research past a few days that DBs have a different view of Mukhtar and the Non DBs have a different view. They see Mukhtar as one of those who took revenge of Imam Hussain (a.s.) not for the sake of leadership but for real. He did use politics, but by that he removed the governor of Kufa from his seat of tyranny and killed Shimr, Ibn Ziad and many of the killers of Ahlul Bayt. Historical evidence states that Mukhtar was supported with many big personalities like Mohammed Ibn Ali, Ishmael Ibn Malik Al Ashtar and many others. Although he did took this step without the Raza of Imam Ali Zainul Abedeen (a.s). May be this is the reason why DBs ignore this part of the history. And yes even i havent heard any DBs saying Lanat on Mukhtar.. Correct me If I am wrong brothers. I seek Knowledge.

First, Mukhtar attempted to get Imam Hasan a.s. arrested in greed of reward from Mawiya ibn Abu Sufiyan.

Second, he abused revenge as a tool to manipulate people emotions in aftermath of Imam Hussain a.s. murder for his selfish motive to become king.

Third, Imam Ali Zain ul Abideen a.s. has categorised Mukhtar as lier. And per Quran, Allah sends "Laanat" on lier. As only Bohra maslaq is only in complete compliance with all dictums of Quran so they too send curse on Mukhtar.

Besides there are many more grounds that establish that Mukhtar was crooked who even claimed that angle Gibraeel transform into pigeon, sits on his shoulder and convey Allah message to him in his ear!!! Some Historians reported Mukhar claimed to be Prophet and Mohammed s.a.w.w. was not the seal of Prophet!
