Question to abdes : Significance of AMU Chancellorship??
Question to abdes : Significance of AMU Chancellorship??
To all die hard abdes who have a blind belief and reading this forum, I have a question,
What is the significance, or for that matter benefits of Syedna being given the chancellorship of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). What benefits of the last two dais also being the chancellors brought about or how has it affected bohras in any way. I don't know if there's a single bohra who studies at AMU...

Re: Question to abdes : Significance of AMU Chancellorship??
dawedaar thanx for the PM, I have not disappeared any where, Admin just kept me on ban for 2 days just because I gave appropriate reply to his joker Al Zulfiqar, my ban got lifted few hours back.
this is a good way of democracy this forum is practising but nothing else is expected from those who just knows how to do gibat and spread fitnah.
as far as chancellorship is concern, KQ followers and stupid dogla people are more excited than dawoodi bohras, its just a normal thing for us to get respect from world and this is not new for us.
also I would like to mention many bohras who just vanish off they really dont go because they cant defend, but most time ADMIN either deleted their ID and POSTs or just put them on moderation and dont let their post published.
this is a sad truth of this forum.

Re: Question to abdes : Significance of AMU Chancellorship??
lol, what respect.. AMU is not a Harvard.. it ranks nowhere in India's top institutions, leave the world's top... and what will the chancellorship bring along apart from just the ceremonial title ???

your definition of free speech and democracy is to freely abuse in vulgar gutter terms and not be punished? that freedom is inside your masjid/markaz where mufatlal and his pet amils give live sabaks in doing so. practice your version of democracy there.YaHussain wrote:....you cant even tolerate democracy on some stupid online forum?
if you think this is a stupid online forum, then what is a great statesman like you doing here? khattey angoor?

Even the Ex-Chief Justice of India, Mr. A.M. Ahmedi who is now a SKQ loyalist was appointed as the Chancellor of AMU.

Choice of V-Cs
Even a person of Albert Einstein’s calibre cannot become the Vice-Chancellor of an Indian university if he is ineligible under the new UGC regulations. As often as not, Vice-Chancellors are appointed not because they are distinguished academics, but because they have the right political connections in the Union HRD ministry in the case of central universities or appropriate political or caste affiliation at the state-level. In many cases, they pay a huge sum of money; the rates allegedly vary from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh in some states. Expediency, and not merit, decides the choice.
Even associate professors and in some cases even assistant professors ,who had worked only in private colleges and never in universities, have been appointed as V-Cs. Several appointments in the recent past have been quashed by the judiciary because of the selection of “ineligible candidates”, lack of consultation by the Governor and the state government, lacunae in the composition of search committees etc.
What should the process of appointment be? Should the government have any say in the appointment of a V-C? Is there need to have a relook at the UGC regulations? The Vice-Chancellor is the kingpin of a university system. He is the keeper of the university’s conscience. As head of the university, he is expected to function as a ‘bridge’ between the administrative and the academic wings.
The Acts refer to the V-C as an ‘officer’ of the university rather than an academic head.. As per the UGC Regulations of 18 September 2010, the Vice-Chancellor should be a distinguished academic with ten years’ experience as professor. He should be a person of impeccable integrity and morals. The Kothari Commission (1964) stated: “A Vice Chancellor should be a person with vision and (have) qualities of academic leadership with ability for administration. He should command high respect among all sections of the society. He should be a distinguished academic with a. commitment to the values for which the universities stand. He must have the ability to provide leadership to the university by his academic worth, administrative competence and moral stature.”
Unfortunately, the government continues to play a crucial role in the appointment of V-Cs and autonomy of universities.
Of late, most appointments are made through search committees after proper advertisements in newspapers. While this is intended to ensure transparency, the nomination/election to search committees is often politically influenced.

Re: Question to abdes : Significance of AMU Chancellorship??
Mufaddal Mola will soon have title of Doctor and Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University. Deal is done
Our current Dai and past two Dai’ had no schooling and no degree; they never addressed public talking about Bohra philosophy or answered fielded questions. As they became wealthy during last two generations, they needed to sport some kind of degree. Aligarh University suited them. They donated huge sums to this university. As quid pro quo, University offered honorary doctorate or Chancellor /Vice Chancellor degree to Syedna so that when a Bohra sends invitation, card or any publication they can write Doctor Syedna. Many other people receive honorary degree of doctor from various universities. Amitabh Bachchan has one. However, he never writes Dr, Amitabh.
When in newspaper a reporter puts news and says Doctor Syedna, general public think Syedna must have done Ph.D. He never knows that Syedna never published any book or theses. Please listen to following audio Mola Mufaddal telling gathered Bohras and Mr. Zamiruddin, Vice Chancellor Aligarh University who is present. Mola Mufaddal reads a written Urdu speech thanking Aligarh University for offering him Chancellorship. I think there will be a ceremony at later date when Mufaddal will be awarded Doctorate degree. It is rumored that Mufaddal Mola paid several crores for this degree. It seems odd that a person who gives a recommendation letter (Ruku Chithi) to Allah for admitting a Bohra into Jannat would accept a degree from a worldly University.
Please note that in his speech Mufaddal Mola says Mohobbat se ittihad ki rooh mazboot hoti ha or ikhtelafat ki jaD kamzor hoti hai. Meaning love makes soul of cooperation strong and roots of bickering weak. However, he himself and those close to him never stop sending La’nat and kicking out Bohras at whims. They never show love. They show love only to money.
