Reformist Bohras in the UK protest against Mufaddal's visit

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Protests at Birmingham mosque over controversial cleric

Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin is the head priest of the Dawoodi Bohra community, a branch of Islam with thousands of followers in the UK.

He is accused of promoting the practice of female genital mutilation (FGM).

For two days those opposed to his beliefs on FGM have held a peaceful protest outside the new Bohra Masjid mosque in Hockley.

No one from the mosque was available for comment.

And here's Muffy's enlightening bayan at the mosque. "Tamara farzand em tem chaala no jaaye!" Of course, they should stay in this cult and finance our luxuries and lick our juutis.

Seyedna Mufaddal and Dawoodi Bohra Reformists

On Thursday 3rd August 2017 a group of twenty five Dawoodi Bohra Reformists, holding placards demanding accountability and social justice, managed to upset Seyedna Mufaddal Saifuddin’s three day programme in Birmingham, in the UK.

Seyedna Mufaddal Saifuddin was due to inaugurate the newly built Saifee Masjid in the Hockley area of Birmingham. His plans to inaugurate the mosque, deliver a sermon and then lead the maghrib prayers were cut short by the demonstrators who had arrived by 7pm outside the mosque. Many from mainstream, particularly the young people, had never seen anything like this, let alone heard of any dissenting voices.

Instead of a grand entrance led by a band and a parade, Seyedna Mufaddal was rushed through the back car park and quickly ushered in. He mentioned the protestors in his sermon and told the congregation that they should encourage them to cross over and join them.

By midnight, Seyedna’s organisers were changing plans for the UK-wide gathering on the following day. They rang people asking them not to attend and instead of the 3,000 registered attendees only about 1,000 were present. Coaches bringing people from around the country were cancelled. Two car parks, reserved and paid for the visiting guests lay empty, taxis and mini coaches were cancelled in the middle of the night. Once again Seyedna's programme was disrupted and much reduced.

By now, photos and information about the demonstration was being conveyed around the world through social media. Even those sitting inside the mosque were receiving photos of the demonstration taking place outside.

The protestors turned up again on Friday morning and this time a BBC journalist and cameraman were also present. They reported the demonstration on the 1.30pm news and as a longer feature on the 6.30pm and 10.30pm news.

The BBC news report can be found on the following link: https://youtu.be/fUDRAHM5xAU

As a result of the second demonstration the organisers also cut short Seyedna’s programme for Saturday.

On Friday afternoon, Seyedna Mufaddal sent a representative to visit Mr Fazlehusein Kapasi and convey the message that Seyedna was reaching out to the Reformists with love and wanted Fazlehusein Kapasi to present himself to him. By this time, Mr Kapasi had asked Moiz Rajabali to join him in the discussions.

Mr Kapasi and Moiz Rajabali spent a couple of hours with the representative discussing the invitation. They made it clear that they were individually in no position to negotiate with the Seyedna. Any negotiations would have to be between Seyedna's nominees, who should have the power and authority to take decisions, and the representatives of the Reformists. The Reformists' representatives would constitute delegates elected by Reformist organisations world-wide. Meetings should take place within a properly constituted forum with a clear agenda. Unfortunately Seyedna’s representative seemed interested only in Fazlehusein Kapasi presenting himself to Seyedna but Mr Kapasi made it clear that he would not do that.

The Reformists’ message was relayed to Seyedna and by late night, Mr Kapasi received a call from Seyedna’s representative. Seyedna was inviting him again to meet him. The following morning Mr Kapasi rang the representative and declined the invitation.

We hope that all Dawoodi Bohras will take courage from this report and seize every opportunity to express their grievances.

Tit for Tat
DMBS declined the invitation from SKQ(RA) and still avoids a meeting/Mubahala with STF ,
Now somebody has given him the taste of his own medicine....
Interesting turn of luck for DMBS

What Moula Muffaddal begging reformist for attendance, the KING of Dawoodi Bohra's fallen from grace ! What happened to all those faristas (Angels) in khdimat of Dai, all flew away. I think personally those reformist should BACK OFF and leave Moula Muffaddal alone. Do you know how much a Rolex cost, and keeping Saifee Mahal maintained. The cost of its garden and green cover maintenance itself goes into Lac's for Rupees per month. And feeding 500+ mouths (parasites) with expensive taste, its a big job.
Have mercy on our Moula please....!!!!

any meeting without representation is misrepresentation. The progressives did the right thing. It could have been that if Mr. Kapasi had met with Mr. Mufaddal may be some khichri would have cooked between the two. Secondly Mr. Mufaddal may have called Mr. Kapasi but he would have found out that it was not a one on one meeting but a whole group of Mufaddales with only one Mr. Kapasi or may be two with Mr. Rajab Ali.

Dear Friends,
Please click https://youtu.be/JuxrhGFvtIs and watch Birmingham Bohras protesting against Syedna’s atrocity when he came for Mosque inauguration.
Controversial Head Priest due to open mosque in Birmingham
Thursday 3rd August 5pm to 7.30pm
Dear friends,
Read this historic happening.
Friday 4th August 2017 9am to 11am
Venue: 164 Icknield Street, Hockley, Birmingham B18 6RU.
A protest against the Head Priest of the Dawoodi Bohra community will be held outside the community’s new mosque on Icknield Street. Seyedna Muffadal Saifuddin, the controversial leader of the small community known as the Dawoodi Bohra, is due to arrive in Birmingham from India, to inaugurate the newly built mosque.
The protest will be mounted by a group known as the Dawoodi Bohra Reformists who are campaigning for reforms within the community. Moiz Rajabali, one of Reformists, said, “Seyedna Muffadal’s grip on the community is so tight that no-one will complain openly about being forced to pay tens of thousands of pounds towards the construction of the mosque”.
One of Seyedna Muffadal’s followers, a Dr Jumana Nagarwala, is currently being tried in the courts in the USA for performing FGM, a common practice amongst the Dawoodi Bohras that the Reformists are challenging.
Seyedna Muffadal himself is being challenged in the courts in India about the legitimacy of his leadership of almost a million followers around the world. With this position of ‘Dai’ comes enormous influence and wealth.
Fazlehusein Kapasi, a long-time Reformist Dawoodi Bohra, said, “Although Muffadal is probably one of the richest men in the world, no-one will be able to calculate his exact wealth. His ability to influence those in position of power, both in India and around the world means he is given VIP treatment instead of being asked difficult questions about his leadership. This man makes his community members prostrate before him and asks his followers, including women and children to kiss his feet, an act which is contrary to Islamic practices. Anyone disputing the legitimacy of his position or disobeying his instructions is subject to social boycott which involves breaking all ties with family and friends. Social boycott has divided this small, tight-knit community into factions and torn families apart.”

Bravo and Shabash to these Bohras who are standing up against illegitimate orders and corrupting Bohras’ mind. Khatna, Hunting, embezzlement, Wajebat, and illegal taxes must stop. Selling of grave spaces and praying spaces are abhorring. Instead of praying Allah, praying Mufaddal photo is idolatry.
