Bushra... Bushra.... Bushra....

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Gulp,

Did you take raza before posting these details on a reformist site. If not you are not a good follower of syedna and he will be very angry with you...

@jayanti

Read the context and then my statement and you will get the meaning.

Footlickers, beggars, slaves, insaan ne sajdo karwawala belong to the same category. I am sure you understand who they are!

"tamari shafa'at karis" should read as "tamari zeb saaf karis"

"koi fikar na karjo" should read as "Mhane tamara badha paisa aapi ne koi fikar na karjo. Mhara paase tamara paisaa safe che"

Was there anything new in this year's Zikra's majlis?

People flock to Zikra majlis because that knowledge which is not given generally during moharrum and ramzaan is imparted in Maula's bayaan in the zikra majlis.

By the way , did anybody attend this year's Zikra majlis? Anything new this time?

I suppose this shafa'at did not reach the Bohras is Dhule, so now they have to do fikar. Of how they will survive and where.
They did become the sitting ducks as I had mentioned in an earlier thread.

Surat Amil and Jamat members beaten up
On Lailatul-Qadr 22nd Ramadan, (Sunday 21st August 2008) Amil of Ezzi Mohalla - Surat announced that Sayedna Saheb has sent a "Maozat" amount to be distributed among poor and deserving mumineen.
After two days on 25th Ramazan (Wednesday 24 August 2008) a group of 50 to 60 Bohras went to the office of the Ezzi Mohalla Tanzeem Committee. It is also the office of Amil. They inquired about the "Maozat" amount received from Sayedna.
The Amil informed them that the amount had already been distributed. After hearing this, the group demanded the list of the recipients. Amil give them the list.
On going through the list they found that the entire amount was distributed among the relatives of Jamat members, Shaikh Taher bhai Daginawala, Shaikh Shabbir bhai Ghadiwala and Shaikh Hakimuddin. Nothing was distributed among poor and deserving mumineen.
This ultimately resulted first in heated arguments and then in to violent clash and the Amil and Jamat members were beaten up thoroughly. Taher Daginawala submitted his resignation.

See the height of corruption in the land of Jamiyah Saifiyah. See the effect of Zikra on Sayedna's own trusted men.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable.

Don't know who said, but sounds appropriate.

Too many incidents of common bohras beating up the amils and jamaat members this year. Is there a domino effect or is the house of cards collapsing?

"Zikra" is one more occasion for the kotharis to display their show of strength and project their vice like grip over the bohra community at large. They just need some excuse to gather bohras from all over the globe at one place and show the world how great is "Mola ni shaan". The bayaan here is nothing much different then the one you hear in Moharrum or you could say it is an extension of the Moharrum vayez. Now we all know what is the vayez during Moharrum, there is more emphasis on wajebat, bawaji saab (Taher Saifuddin saab) and the usual laanats showered on Sahaba Rasul s.a. There is no emphasis on Imam Hussain a.s.'s shaan and moreover there is zero emphasis on what we as true followers of Imam Hussain a.s. should actually learn and inculcate the message passed by Him to us. There is no stress on the actual message of Hussain a.s. but only a lesson in history repeated year after year. Thats the reason why bohras even after attending the vayez are like "Chikna ghada par paani".

If the true message is understood by the average bohra, he/she will immediately question the present authorities as to in what way are you following Imam Hussain a.s. teachings. What sacrifices are you making for the Ummah. How are you living as compared to the great soul. So there is a ploy to keep the masses ignorant and reap the benefits arising out of it.

"Zikra" is actually "Zikar" and by that we mean Zikar-e-Ilahi (Chanting Allah's name). Now how much of Allah's name is recited and how much stress is given on Allah and His Commandments is for everyone to see.

One of my relatives from Ujjain (Safdari) who had gone to Jamiyah Saifiah - Surat for education and had to run away because of the ugly behaviour of the teachers there has told me that:
1) The students selected there are NOT on the basis of their financial condition or their interest in the religious education, they are selected on the basis of their charming handsome look and smartness.
2) The young student are selected and kept in Jamiyah for eleven years till they have spend good years of their youth in the seminary and are left with no other option except to do amalat.
2) The earlier during Sayedna Taher Saifuddin Saheb's time examinations were conducted and degrees were confirmed on the fial year students. It was then known as "Imtihan". But now it is name as "Zikra" because Sayedna Burhanuddin saheb comes to Surat and do the "Zikar" of his father and our 51st Dai's Karam & Ahsanat.

Bro S. Insaf,
The students selected there are NOT on the basis of their financial condition or their interest in the religious education, they are selected on the basis of their charming handsome look and smartness.
Why do you think charming handsome looks matter? We have all heard stories about paedophiles priests amongst Roman Catholic priests and their stories about choir boys. The Catholic Church is now paying millions of dollars as compensation and going bankrupt.

Is there more than meets the eye?
