SABIL & ZAKAH

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

A letter from Abde Syedna- Ignorance is realy sad!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Zakaat, the fourth pillar of Islam, seems the most difficult, the most challenging in that it is a test of sincerity, a test of conviction. Its benefits are felt in this world; its rewards are reserved for the hereafter. The Quran says, ?Verily, triumphant is he who gives zakaat?. Rasulullah (SA) has said, ?Giving zakaat wards off evil from a man?s wealth?. ?Any capital from which zakaat has been given will never suffer a loss?. ?Giving zakaat does not decrease a man?s wealth; just as refraining from giving zakaat does not add to his wealth?. A law which modern economics will never comprehend! Amir ul mumineen (AS) says, ?When Allah wishes to reward a mumin, he sends an angel to stroke his chest, so that he becomes generous enough to offer zakaat.?
The Quran commands Rasulullah (SA): ?Take zakaat from their wealth to cleanse and purify them. Pray for them, for your dua is their solace?. This command is directed towards Rasulullah (SA) and his progeny, the Imam, and the Dai al Mutlaq during the period of satar. Giving charity to the needy does not constitute zakaat; zakaat is the right of Awliyaullah (AS). When Aqa Maula (TUS) receives waajebaat from mumineen he showers them with pearls of dua mubarak: ?May Allah bestow upon you plenty of barakaat. May your wealth multiply.? The effect of this dua mubarak is evident in the financial prosperity of mumineen today.

so mr poor, be proud that u r bohra be proud that u have rahbar like sy. mohmmed burhanuddin, take vasila of panjatan, imama, dai duaat u will be no more poor.
i hope u will put ur comment soon i will asnwer u n if u wan talk more i can give u my email too.

allah hafiz

Mr: Abde. Yes you are correct. Give 2.5% or even more of the zakat and your wealth will increse, but only if the income is made from halal meansi.e without being in ribba, or working in gas station selling cigarettes, beer and wine, or any other illegal means. There are big parties in India and Karachi that make money by racketeering, hoarding, and black marketing. When the time comes to take money, the mulla least cares what is the source of income. Typical Bargaining goes on and he tries to squeeze the max he can out of the poor bohri bakra.
People pray five times a day, but do you think they are going to jannat? You talk about duaa from the Daee. Let me tell you an incidence that happened in the Rasool's time. One day a man came to the Rasool and asked him if he would perform the nikkah for him. The rasool agreed and said that he would perform it for him to morrow. At that instant Gabriel told the Rasool that this man would be dead tomorrow, so if you want to you will have to perform the nikkah to day. Well, the rasool called the man back and asked him to make preparations as soon as possible, because nikkah would be today. Well, nikkah was performed and thecouple spent the night together. During the night a beggar came to the newly wed couple and asked for some food. The newly wed willingly gave all they could. Next morning the Rasool went to the newly wed couples house to prpare for burial, and guess what, the man was alive and happy. I tell this incident to let you know that just by parting with your money does not make your wealth pure, or that if the Daee is going to bless you that yoyu would be rich. These are all tricks of the mullas trade to get as much as he can out of you. The bottom line is that it is you and your deeds, and nothing else. It is better if you give your zakat to the needy and the orphan yourself. Why are you unnecessarily burdening the mulla with the duty which allah has really asked you to perform just like he has asked you to pray. The mulla cannot pray for you. SO I say ,stop being an abde bakra, have the courage to know your Allah and have faith in him. After all it is Allah who has appointed two angels on your shoulders to write nothing else but your deeds.

I have never seen Burhanuddin ever giving out any Zakat. Never Seen his Sons, their family or khotar ever giving Zakat.

Do these people even believe what they preech?

Nowdays, The Amil Sahhib is calling people to remind everyone to pay Zakat, Sabil and other Wajibat. They get 15% from the total money collected. Of curse the Amil decides what the total is

Who says Zakat is for poor people??

Zakat is for Burhanuddin, his family and the amils.
