Sunnis are Muslim who follow Qur'an and sunnah of Prophet SAW

There are 4 Madhaab in Sunni Islam

Some add Wahabi and Salafi to it.

Thank you for posting pictures of Sunni Janam Khanas. Aareef, start whining! or say, "Wallah MabAAreef" and plead ignorance.

MFr, Somewhere you indicated that Ismaili men, women and children lead prayers.

How about: From "Women of Sufism"..In the early days of the Muslim community, there were women who made the call to prayer, and there were also women who led the ritual prayer, not only for women but also for men. In particular, Umm Waraq bint Abdallah, who was trained by Muhammad himself, acted as the prayer leader for her whole tribe.

...And it was a woman, his daughter Fatima, who is looked to as the fountainhead of his descendants and the first to manifest the mystical aspects of Islam.

Lady Nafisa who was known as "the jewel of knowledge" and "the mother of the helpless" was the great-granddaughter of Hasan, son of Lady Fatima and Imam Ali.

She was reputed to know the Qur'an and commentaries by heart and was so versed in religious knowledge that even her great contemporary, the Imam al-Shafi (wasn't he Sunni) used to come to listen to her discourses and enter into discussions with her....(A Sunni man came to listen to Shia woman. Mashallah, what brevity!)

He made his last will and testament, asking that Lady Nafisa perform the funeral prayers for him when he died. When the Imam died his body was brought to her house....She prayed extensively for him and offered the eulogy:"May God have mercy on Al-Shafi'i....

In conclusion, a Sunni man trusted a Shia woman to perform funeral prayers. So women even led funeral prayers in 9th century!!!!

It is nothing about Shias or Sunnis, brother, it is about Islam which is very diverse in nature. There is strength in diversity. The key word is Respect and tolerance.
But it is useless to talk to the likes of you about pluralism and diversity, because you are hell bent on destroying Ismailism, and Shia'ism. Even your Sunnis have waved you off so now you are hiding in this forum.

This faith is here to stay, no matter what you say and what you do.

Momin and Proud African,

I think our Ismaili brothers are very smart at searching keywords in google without doing any further research. The above info is from the URL that Momin has posted. If you read it carefully than you will realize that this building contains much more than the prayer room. It contains library, woman's section etc. Hence it is not called masjid for obvious reasons.

Also, out of all the names and addresses posted by Momin 90-95% are called masjids...

But as I said our Ismaili brothers will always run after the tail of the Elephant...

Sunni Sunnahs and others alike also pray in Jamatkhanas too, and not just the Nizari Ismaili Shia Muslims.

Yes, but the Sunni Jamatkhanas also contain a prayer room. Having said that, Sunnis also pray in Jamatkhana as well.

Jamat Khana is gethering place for Jamaat.

Jamaat Khana can be property of one Single Jamaat.

Example say Ahmedabadi Rangrez Jamaat. Here Jamaati activities can take place. They might have a room set aside for Prayers. This jamat Khana is for perticular Jamat. It is private property and non Jamati people could be refused entry.

Masjid of Mainstream Muslim is open for all and only prayers and Allah's rememberence takes place there. All Muslim are welcome in Masjds.
