One good deed deserves another

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

The administrator: congratulations for a job well done. Instead of giving away sabil money to the local mulla many may like to donate it to your cause in educating the masses and enlightining them about honesty in religion. Are there any charitable institutions for the poor and needy run by your organization where donations can be made?

All progressive jamaats around the world run charitable organisations. The Udaipur jamaat particularly has quite a few of them. More details on Udaipur jamaat and its various organisations can be found on this website at: http://www.dawoodi-bohras.com/udaipur/u ... tributions and donations from well-wishers are always welcome - as they go a long way in sustaining our charitable work which in turn give meaning and purpose to our struggle.
Please send your donations to:
The Chairman,
Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat of Udaipur
Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg, Bohra Wadi
Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001
India

Thanks for the response. Do you have any address in the states or organization?

There are many reformists scattered all over the U.S. but we do not have a jamaat yet. The best and easiest way, we feel, is to send donation directly with cheques drawn in favour of Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat of Udaipur.
If you decide to sned a donation, please mention this website in your message - so we know where the money is coming from. You can expect a receipt for your contribution.
Thank you very much for your interest. We hope others too will come forward and help us in helping needy Bohras lead a decent and dignified life.

Yes we've a thriving progessive jamaat in Canada. It's been around for a long time and goes by the name The Association of Progressive Dawoodi Bohras of Ontario. For details pls check this URL "http://www.dawoodi-bohras.com/apdbo.htm" on this website.
