Bhopal to Mumbai via Indore

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

@gulf
is this all what you people stand for??
Bro, You have been coming to this forum for a long time now, and this is the question you ask after so much education? The sad part is that all the information and knowledge provided to you has gone waste, because you have decided to close your eyes.

I can only pity you and as AZ says "the gulf between your ears"

A few things. Firstly you are contradicting yourself in tonnes as first you said that you think logically when necessary. And then later in your post, you wrote a thesis about how religion and logic cannot mix. You have to take your pick clearly first. According to me, logic applies everywhere. Not just religion. If you asked me to follow a religion and not use my logic, I would assume that the religion is full of lies and bad stuff.

Also, I wanted to clarify what you mean by 'religion' as you kept mentioning it in your thread. Do you mean islam when you say religion? Because dawoodi bohra or rather mainstream/orthodox dawoodi bohra is a small community of islam and not a religion by itself. Or maybe it is supposed to be so but the leaders have been successful in isolating this community from the mother religion: islam and giving people a sense of superiority over other communities of islam. Isn't that true?

Bro Gulf,
You are completely deluded. let me help you by clarifying your statements.
1. "We dawwodi Bohras followers of RasulAllah's Da'awat". Do Bohras really follow all the tenets of Islam? What about pictures of the Dai in your house?
2. "You drag us below upto your level". since when and according to which principle, are Free and thinking human beings below slaves? Please get over your pretensions.
3. "are always thinkin logically when and where it is necessary..." You mean to say that logic is to be applied selectively, as and when it suits you? Isn't that hypocrisy in other words?

Doesn't you reply validate the statement of AZ?
