The article written by Asghar Ali Engineer on the front page that reads, "What makes Bohras such Blind followers" is quite inspirational.
Notice that the words "Bohras" and "Blind" are both in 'blood red' highlighting to emphasize "Bohras are Blind".
Wake-up guys and smell the morning glory, not fake conjunctural traditionally ritualistic orthodoxically segregated and sectarianized pathetically opinionated and dogmatic beliefs.

My definition is that Imam has attributes that cannot be shared by any other individual. This is by God's decree. This allows him access to knowledge no other human being can possibly possess and which can guide a human to "salvation", whatever that is.
l could not have said it better.........My concept of lmam is one who is chosen by God to lead his jamaat during present times, thus Hazer Imam which cannot be claimed by ANY other lmam. He is the direct descendant of the Holy Prophet A.S and Hazrat Aly in an unbroken lineage.

turbocanuck,
So what are these attributes that Hazar Imam possesses that nobody else can possess?
Did he have these before he was declared the Imam following the reading of the will of the previous Imam or did he miraculaously receive them when his name was read in the will?
I am trying to understand how the Imam is divine. Is it like the ancient Egyptian and Roman emperors, who were considered divine by self-imposition, while their populations mocked them?
Bohras share this "divinity" bit for their Imams and by extension, the Dais. The Dai is now also divine.
Please explain what makes him divine. It cannot be just be uniqueness because, uniqueness is an attribute of every individual on earth.

do you believe the Holy Prophet a.s had divinity? if yes we can proceed to the next item which is at the time of his departure, he said "to whom l am mowla, Ali is his mowla". if you believe in that we can proceed to the next one which is ....." l am leaving behind two things...the holy book and my progeny (Hazrat Ali ) the interpreter of the holy book.....if you are with me so far, Aga Khan being the direct descendant of Hazrat Ali, your question is self explanatory.
"Nass" is as it is called when lmamat is handed to the next lmam, is when divinity is transferred. if your question is that of mischief and critical of our imam, then search for the answer in YOUR own sect during lmamats may it be Hazrat Imam Hussein a.s. to Hazrat Imam Mustansirbillah a.s take your pick. as for Quranic proof, do some research.....if you fail, let me know and l will direct you.

I do not believe that Muhammad was divine.
Divinity is an attribute of God. That Imam/Dai is divine is an innovation of later Islam. The concept became solidified, especially during pre-Fatimid period, as a result of rivalry among different people claiming leadership of Muslims.
I am quite happy with the idea that you believe that Aga Khan is divine. I do not wish to continue this debate. Thanks.

Muhammad SAWS never claimed divinity. I would hope Muslims would concentrate on his massage then his and his family’s divinity.
GOD, there is no other god but GOD. HE is Alone, has no parnters and none equals HIM and Muhammad is His last and final Prophet and Messenger.
