HH was not well in Nairobi - this was well known by everyone in Nairobi as he did not attend the mosque on the night of Shab-e-Baraat. Its Ramadhan now and he has not attend the mosque in London either, which is very unusual.

Quran recitations are held in ramadan every year - they are not an indication that the dai is not well.

It is NOT MEANT to be performed by Sayedna, the recitations ('khatmal quran majalis') are done by the public taking turns until the Quran is completed. They are meant to be a 'hadiyah' for Sayedna's good health and take place every year in most major cities, regardless of his current health state. Its nothing new.

I was talking about the contingency(emergency) recitations and not the routine ones...the scene was exactly similar to what happened when the Mecca Rubaat was under threat of demolition.
