Asgari Bohra

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Brother zeal
You have made your point, actually you have made a very good point for all the blind followers of present setup. it is very easy to listen to your consience, if you are ready to learn. knowledge is the key to freedom. what you found out was already existent, the only difference was, it was not sought for, once you tried to learn, tried to find the truth out, you came to conclusion, that whatever being practice in the name of dawat or islam is actually very far from it. ignorance is the bliss. that is why you have never heared any amil or waaz giver telling you to go seek the knowledge, they will always tell you to follow blindly. because they know once you start knowing, they cannot put end to your quarries. baat nikley gi tu door tak chali jai gi, they dont want.syedna saheb himself has not preached our kids to get educated. the most detested thing right now in our clergy is education.
go through the posts in this forum by the followers, first you will always find them intolerent, very arogant and ignorant. not one post i have across by a blind follower had any depth or knowledge in it. they could only refute, curse, and abuse.but never any analytical apporach towards any point. the problem is, their blind faith does not let them to search for the truth by seeking knowledge. if you ask any blind follower about fatmid history, about our dawat history, they will have none. they may even not know the names of present mazoon and mukasir. because right now these portfolios are not considered important by syedna saheb. though when he was mazoon, he was the no 2 after his father. let us all hope that our community will strive for knowledge, and we will be able to call our community a commune of learned beings.
