Jabir reported;

The Prophe SAW forbade the plastering of graves and making insscriptions or building anything upon them (Muslim)

This Hadith instructs us that graves should not have any commemorative signs or inscriptions, such as epitaphs or verses of Qur'an.

I was wondering, looking at the above photos.

The first photo shows syedna saheb with people surronding him, I was actually wondering since last many months about this specific act. Syedna saheb is carried on shoulders in some custom cart. Syedna saheb is a buzrug leader, he may not have strength enough to stroll or to walk the length. Usually in such cases, wheel chair is used for transportation, there are variety of wheel chairs available, from very expensvie and automated to simple ones. One would have been suitable for him. But the way, he is elevated on the shoulders, i do not know how to put it.

It gives me an impression, for show of mastership for him, and inordinate subordination touching the limit of slavery for his followers or present.
I am yet to fathom the wisdom of this act. I would appreciate your opinion on it, specially from spot and muizz.

The second photo shows, students taking exams while sitting on the floor. This, I have to call it beyond stupidity. I have never seen such stupidity anywhere. While they are spending millions on jamea etc, can they not provide chairs for student, of course they can, but the wisdom behind it is total property of jamae managers. This postrue has nothing to do with religion. I have seen most orthodox madrasas giving exam, on chair. Can you imagine in 21st century, a self proclaimed acedemic institution examining its students sitting on the floor. can anyone enlighten me on this. Please.

but what you replied with adds even little to the dialogue. i am not referencing sufis or will not reference bin baaz for anything.

shafa and wasila is based on authentic sunnah both from shia and sunni books.

the quran says there is no intercesor but by allah permission.

in surah muhammad it is written: "So know (O Mohammed) that there is no God except Allah and ask for forgiveness for thy sin and for believing men and women"

this is shafa and wasila of the prophet...but this is not limited to just the prophet...and no where is hadiths or quran does allah limit wasila to the prophet alone.

in fact, it is recommended to pray duas to allah for your parents. this is making a wasila for your parents. so why wouldn't i ask the imams to help me plead to allah.

There were 18 The Qasr Mubarak weddings this week. Count the number of "royals" marrying so-called "commoners". The clue obviously is in the title "BS", which incidentally has another connotation in the western countries. Give you one good guess of what it is. Please also notice the incessant fetish or obsession of using arabic version of name-joinders such as "bin" and "binte", instead of lisan-e-dawaat. Wow!!!!

Shaadi Functions In Aqa Moula TUS Qasr Mubarak

Another joyous moment for the city of Surat and a moment of bliss take place when the proceedings of “Shadi Mubarak” has commenced on 24th Shawwal Al Mukarram 1427.

Streets have been decorated and illuminated and as well as the Qasr Mubarak of Aqa Moula TUS, Mumineens of Surat are also getting blessed and bestowed by their beloved Dai Bawa Shafiq Aqa Moula TUS as they are happy to see their Dai in Ecstasy.

The “Shadi” function was started by Daris Mubarak which was led by Aqa Moula TUS at Devri Mubarak after that Shadi Izan was Arz to Aqa Moula TUS by Shehzada Saheb's at Evan of Al Jamea Tus Saifiyah.

The General “Mandva” was strung-up by some khidmatguzars in which Mulla Juzer Bhai Sounasath got Sharaf to strung-up Mandva at Sakina Manzil.

After that “Mandva” was strung-up individually at Shehzada Sahebs particular Qasr whose Son/Daughter are getting Married in which again Mulla Juzer Bhai Sounasath got Sharaf to strung-up Mandva.

The decked up girls are not brides.There is a custom amongst surti and other bohras of Gujrat to deck up children and put them in a baggi,during weddings.There is a similar custom for boys for their sehra of circumcision as well.As for the girls,I do not know the reason,perhaps a Surti Bohri would tell us.
