Why Bohras are so frightened and submissive?

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

EAW
1) Wife who is totally dedicated religious person ( you may say brainwash - but I would never admit
Is it because of lack of tertiary education or seating at home ? When you see modern educated women in Iran in the frontline of protests.

Ask your wives to socialise with non-Bohras to open thir minds.
2) 50+ years of total indocrination of mind
Will not last another 50yrs its a matter of time and the 53rd era will be weak
3) Examples of total punishment if ever you would go astray
Many posts state this punishment is overstated. Its like a child thing we should continue testing the boundaries and shake the barriers some will be weak some will collapse !
4) I think the offer of Janaat always keeps us on our toes

Have the written Quran as your guide and this promise is false and over stated.
5) Total control of your life from birth to death and after death
Start small objections and step by step..do not revolt on the first opportunity.
6) free 4 course food for 100 times a year
This feasting is more like animal instinct. The amount wasted on 4 course meal on one person can feed a poor family for a week.
7) Social lfe
What social life strange that grown man can enjoy slavery, taslim, stand with hands joined and bowing to flatter and suck up to an Amil yet never make a cup of tea for his own family. Women enjoy and blush to almost flirting where their accent automatically becomes Surti when an old grey haired Shazada, bensaheb or Amil puts up a practised fake smile.
8) Identity and making sure your children do not go astray in the western world so you keep on going to the mosque
Latest generation the percentage of Western born youth going outside the community is increasing at an alarming trend. Bohra othodoxy is in fact acting as discourager.
9) The alternative does not exist - people like mixing with people of same kind
This is also true people who are awakened will also socialise and feel comfortable within non-Bohras, I do.
10) Very basic religious teachings easy to understand not too detail other wise in other religions they go too deep and scare you too much
It is more like superficial teachings.
