ALAVI MISHAQ

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

@A__h
From your posts above and your replies to Oma, one thing is clear. There is a serious lack of conscience and sensitivity on your part. Are you trying to say that giving money to murderers, for whatever reasons, humanitarian or otherwise is okay, but supporting poor people in the community is not? Or is it a lower priority?

The goon came to collect his hafta and you are putting a spin on it that he came here to pay respects.

You say, the Syedna is not responsible for every small thing in the community and we should not bother him. This is exactly what we have been telling him. Let locals manage the jamaats as was the practice earlier. It is he who insists on micro managing everything. Then, why don't you want him to take responsibility? With every authority comes a commensurate responsibilty.

The only situation where there is authority without responsibilty is the situation of the courtesan. Are you trying to equate him to that?
