Allah did not understand the market concept of interest or banking and lumped everything into 'usury'.

... they say 'Trade is like usury', but Allah permitted trade and forbidden usury[Qur'an 2:274 to 275] on account of, I guess, the prophet being a trader for merchandise & slaves.

Allah also prevented gambling on race horses although he did make an exception. If an Imam is living and not hidden then he can gamble on horses.

And, He(allah) must have also been in the dark from too much sun, sand and distractions, when He dispatched the angel with Quranic ayats that:
The Earth is Flat
And, it is the Center of the Universe
The Stars are lamps and,
The Sun goes to sleep in muddy marshes at the end of the day.

And, the 'best of all nations' rejoiced at their scientific marvels:
