how can he be a caretaker of any sorts?. just think, at every step there is his honcho to screw things up. For every little request there is red tape. Raza for every little thing. Have known people ask local amil to aarz razaa from muffy several times for the same thing.
no mulla anywhere would demand any o.k. from anywhere to conduct nikah and would willingly do it simply because it is a good deed to join two hands in holy matrimony, but in the bohri religion one has to have "safai chithi" from the local amil for nikkah to be conducte: . you want to go for haj you need safai chithi, you want to have majlis you need safai chithi and the list goes on.
My question , who are these corrupt amils who do not even look at their sins but demand safai chithi from mumineen. and from where on earth and by whom this safai chithi tetm was coined? How can this amil know that by me procuring a safai chithi tthat I am cleared to go to heaven and the nikkah would be legit from Allah.. This safai chithi system should be completely abolished. It is another tactic to control the guillables . There is no need to take raza for the same thing several times. This is pure stupidity. Nothing changes by asking for raza several times. It is your deeds and not muffys raza that will make things happen. Believe in Allah and not in Muffy. After all he is just skin and bones like you.

Safai Chitthi is a financial clearance, who care about sin, amal and character of the mumin, if jamat is paid their demands, safai chitti is an asswipe thereafter.

The above definition fits the bohra community perfectly. The Kothar's income depends on selling one product - 'Jannat'. Bohra community has stratified social classes (Shaikhs, Mullahs, NKDs and different colored safai chitthis). 1 Family Ruling class and their politicians (Aamils, Tanzeem etc) who control the entire business. A small number of favorable businessmen who enjoy funding from Qardan funds gathered from masses. And then there is the large and poor working class that oils the entire machinery like slaves and are exploited by the ruling class to the fullest.

This is a reference to an earlier event (I cannot find it on this Forum, perhaps it was not posted here) in a place called Totana where SMS visited some old house and mentioned that there was a well in that house that either Syedna Burhanuddin RA or Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA had visited and he (SMS) was young at the time. The old man was later given Hadiyat and invited to ziyafat and apparently was given money (cheque) in order to rebuild the well. So this video appears to be about that incident where they are claiming that the Aamil took the money.
