My issue was with what JC had posted "One down, how many more to go ? " which I found disrespectful and in poor taste. It does not matter whether you are orthodox, progressive, muslim, non-muslim or even atheist. It is humanity which teaches us to show compassion to fellow human beings. The Subject of this thread is Rest In Peace bear that in mind.

You come here and preach humanity. Good.

Why don't you do the same to the Shahzaadas and the aamils who will let dead bodies lie around for days, because the relatives have not paid up. Why is humanity not important when the ustads were spat upon under the instigation of the dai himself. Why no talk about humanity to Modi, instead of shawls and Crores of rupees.

Respect for the dead and affected kin. This Mullas don’t forget their salaams on funerals also. Some representative from the family will have to make sure all pending dues of the dead are duly paid. If that person’s account is clear then ok, if not relative is duly harassed even in those sad times, when person is emotionally weak.

If a person is coaxed during marriage or other celebrations, one can shell out monies to shut this guys up, but death of a person is rather an emotional moment to block any ceremony and demand clearance.

Bohra families fear wrath of Kothar on issue of death than command of Allah on death. Bohra fear that if they are not buried in bohra cemetery with all due ceremonies, they will miss the flight to heaven.

The zaadas and zaadis outbeat their employees (mullas) when it comes to funeral. Recently a zaadi was invited for the tijiya jaman of a fanatic abde and guess what.................. the zaadi was made to sit on a chair covered with white towel and a full fledged 'wadhavni rasam' was carried out, complete with sweets and chocolates wrapped in a crystal bowl was 'wadhavofied' and the same was presented to her alongwith the usual fat envelope with cash. She was brought to the venue in the deceaseds son's car and was dropped back after she completed her 'business' inspite of the fact that she had a fleet of cars at her disposal...................... Slave mentality at its best !!!!!

I m not surprised, be it funeral or anything, this so called royal pest want to be treated with extreme extraordinary pampering to outshine from others. They don’t command respect, they demand it greedily.

A sheikh would actually advise the host how to handle this royal pests before hand, so that there is no embarrassment in handling this delicate darlings. This sheikhs take pride in such khidmat.

When my uncle expired after suffering from mouth cancer, my father arranged the post death ceremonies. One sheikh advises my father how much cash has to be put in the envelope. The amount quoted was high, my father had to negotiate to a reasonable amount. Such are the cheapskates from jamat.

For your satisfaction you can check with the real diehard abdes who regularly invite the 'fursat ma betha' zaadis and see for yourself the way these parasites are pampered even on tijiya and warsi jamans. The zaadas/zaadis never come in their own cars and make it a point that the host sends one for them, this is all a part of the larger psychological games played by kothar 24x7 to keep the abdes under their thumb.

What does an ageing and ailing father do after he witnesses the sudden death of his son ? In all fairness he prefers to confine himself within the four walls of his house as the 'gham-e-aulad' is too severe to die down soon, especially for the next 40 days. But here we have a scenario wherein the grief stricken father is made to parade around dongaon and then pune, (the next venue is being planned) so that the cash register doesnt stop ringing. Why cant the so called diehard abdes who profess undying love for their master never protest even at this juncture and stop the greedy zaadas from exploiting the dai for their lust for money ?

while in his qabr, or wherever he is being held in custody - pending further questioning, he should experience the suffering, pain, humiliation and exploitation which an ordinary abde bohra undergoes during his lifetime with the hired functionaries of the kothar and at the hands of the dai's sons and his entire establishment.

I have to say though, people on my mum's side of the family are pretty hard-core believers as far as our Dai goes, but i have never seen them invite anyone from Dai's family, especially for a funeral.
