Today, Huzurala (TUS) noted that Mumineen had come for Ashara Mubaraka having downed the shutters of their shops, taken qardhan, even sold off their valuables in order to attend this miqaat. Huzurala (TUS) urged all Mumineen to show the same spirit, to break routines to participate in the remembrance of Imam Husain (AS) promising all those who did so that Imam Husain (AS) would ensure their rizq (livelihoods). Imam Husain (AS), after all, is the one who gave 7 children to a man who had no children at all in his destiny – Imam Husain (AS) could change destiny itself .

Claim that Imaam Hussain RA has power to give you Rizq, or to give you children against destiny (will of Allah SWT) is a lie.

If Imaam Hussain RA had power to change destiny, then why did he not change his own?

No human being , dead or alive has power to give you children or change your destiny except Allah SWT.

The problem could be in the translations or the person who is saying these things is very ignorant.

Most probbaly its some ignorant Mullah.

Did you add the last line yourself, or is part of the original saying "about destiny"

While I strongly belief that Bohra's commit shirk of the highest order, a fanatic Bohri would say that this is only a waseela. They would conveniently forget that by doing all this i.e selling off thier properties, closing business etc they are attributing the attribute of GOD of being present everywhere to one individual, no matter how pious he was.

Lets see what Hur has to say about this.

This is major sin and Shirk need to be corrected do not trust these sydna. He will meet us in hell if you don't use our brain and correct ourself.
