Its 12:30 in the night and I hear an "elaan" which is asking everyone (bohris) to come out of their homes and do a "raat jago" in the mosque and dua for the dawat. I see bohris rushing to the mosque where they have gathered and loudly reading what they call "Nasrul Mahabat". No one knows what is the panic about and what are they praying for but in all probability, the kothar has failed in its attempt to save the Mecca Rubaat. Am I thinking right?

I was watching the eviction from Gaza and saw the dedicted JEWS peacefully staying and the WHOLE WORLD watched the peaceful removal of occupiers from GAZA.
All the SHEZADAS, AAMILS, SHAIKHS, MULLA SAHIBS specially citizens of EUROPE AND USA should do the same thing in Saudi Arabia and sit down in front of RUBAT, if nothing it will be covered by CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC< CBS and Star network
If these shazadas and the rest are really dedicated to this they should do it, big deal if they get arrested and put in jail in Saudi atleast they will make the news and we will be remembering their sacrifice. AREN'T we do the same for Shadaat of Imam Husain who didnot bow to the power but gave his and his family's life.
Syedna and his Aamils keep us reminding about the sacrifice Imam Husain made but they donot follow the same it is is like DO WHAT I SAY NOT WHAT I DO

There is no Mecca case at all. The Rubat of Mecca was demolished in order to extend the existing Ajyad General Hospital. Al though there were lot of efforts from Shaikh Mohammed who is legal owner of the Rubat (as in Saudi Arabia only a Saudi National can buy the property) to save it from demolition. He along with the other people who lost there lands adjunct to Bohra Rubaat made number of request to Governor of Makkah (Late Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz) and letters were even sent to Prince Sultan (Crown Prince) and King Abdullah before the demolition. Once Mr. Yunus Baloo Wala wrote to me that said Rubaat was built by Shaikh Adamji Peerbhoy. May be Mr. S. Insaf has some details about it.

Government of Saudi Arabia has formed High Commission for Development of Makkah ( هيئة العليا لتطوير العامة المكرمة) after the approval of Shoura council and finally the King of Saudi Arabia Approved the formation of Commission. It's decision is not reversible and no one interfere if once a project is approved. No doubt the commission pays highest rates for the acquisition of land either in Makkah or Madina (It is fact that the prices of land around Masjid e Haram is higher than any where in the world.

It is the fact that the some of the effected parties whose lands are included in said project has already collected the cheque of Money. However No one from Bohra Rubaat which comes under Mutawwaf number (5) has collected the money till 15-01-2005 as they are still hopefull and I was there till that day in Makkah. But I am sure they won't have any other option and one day they will accept it.

As far as question of loosing the Mecca case is concern, one can say there was no case like in court or involving any government authority. There are only efforts with Royal family to save or to get the project cancelled which is impossible.

Even Mufaddah bin Mohammed Burhanuddin (Shezaada Saheb and Foreign Ministry designated in so called vizaratu saifia) hold meetings with other effected land owners several times to make some more representation to Royal family of Saudi Arabia. One of the big party involve in this project who lost their land is Al Jaad Group of Saudi Arabia. ( I used to work with Al Jaad Group in Makkah for Two years and have attended these meetings twice) Mr. Mufaddal is quite fluent in Arabic Language and knows art of dealing but Malik ul Ushtar seems to be an ******* . I got enough time to discuss with these two while preparing memorandum and other things on behalf of Al Jaad Group.

Saudi Arabia has monarchy and any kind of demonstration and gatherings are prohibited here. In 1987 some Iranian has tried to stage demonstration and world has seen that more than thousand were killed in police firing. After twenty year now relation of Iran and Saudi Arabia are coming back to normalcy. Secondly these things needs daring and courage. Fanatics bohras can raise their voice and hatred against some reformist and muddai as they term it but if a common muslim even abusing their syedena or any one they will never ever respond to them. Two days before I have posted about the Suleimani Bhori Dai's death. These people are based in South of Saudi Arabia and called (Al Makrami) if you just search about them and atrocities against them you will find that hundred of them are still in prison from last several years just because they are shia and Saudi Arabia is following Sunni hanbali Maslak dominated by Wahabi theology.

Bohras has already bought one Big Building on Masafi (Misfallah) heights as a new rubat few years back and other bohras are being accommodated in temporary hired buildings. Charges for thease poor sheeps are quite enough (as Mr. Al Zulfiquar termed) to crack their posterior cheeks 
