Why no politicians this Idul-fter?

I have gone through current magazines and other propaganda material from Kothar and was surprise to note that this year our beloved Sayedna Saheb celebrated a function like Idul-fiter without inviting any politicians and other social luminaries.
Is it that after his meeting with Modi politicians are keeping a distance with him?
Or because all the politicians like Bhujbal, Shushil Kumar Shindhe and former Police Commissioner of Bombay, Sharma are in trouble after seeking his blessings?
On 11th Oct.03 the President, Dr. Abdul Kalam came to Surat to address the meeting of religious heads. Sayedna Saheb specially waited for him in Surat and made efforts to call on him , but he refused to meet him saying that "I do not want to meet any controversial person".
On 1st October there was a inaugural function of new airport in Surat and a Textile exhibition on 2nd Oct. The Aviation Minister, Shanaz Khan and Jaswant Singh came to Surat. One son of Sayedna with some prominent Jamaat members went to them insisted that they should meet Sayedna Saheb but they refused the offer.
Why this sudden change?
