Due to directive from Kothar they are abstaining from the forum.
The faith of these guys is fantastic ,unfortunately misplaced.

I wonder what it takes to get such followers.Does Syedna have such charisma?
If some one could explain the attributes needed to become a leader of such persona. Ruthlessness..what else? Even if they speak blatant lies that is taken to be word of gospel.
Surely just fear of God ,ignorance & ruthlessness on part of Kothar themselves are not sufficient .
Are majority of us bohras fools or are just spineless?

Dear Brothers Asif and Aleem

I think it is not the way Sayedna governs, its the continuous brain washing right from birth, than in our Madressah, vaiz etc that makes Bohri's such fanatics. Young boys and girls are taught about the Sayedna as if he was God. Bohris' are banned to read literature of other muslims and are encouraged to keep away from them. Bohri's openly make fun and ridicule the way the other muslims pray. Most importantly the belief that Sayedna will take us to heaven is the clincher. Who can resist a perfectly easy entry in to Jannah, no questions asked, by simply following the Sayedna. Actually what the Sayedna asks in obedience is at least in Saudi Arabia very convenient. Not to pray in congregation with the other "muslims, no concept of Friday prayers. A little bit of matam combined with Hindu traditions of "qadam bossi"called as "pao lagoo" in the Hindu religion, plus paying some money in his coffers, no reading and interpretation of Quran, would guarantee a place in heaven. Its not a surprise that the majority of the Bohra's don't want to come out of this dreamland!!!!

Regards

Muslim First,

If you go through the archives you will notice I have debated on many occasions with qiyam.

If you cannot respond to my arguments, please do not get desperate with personal attacks.

It is common in bhora fiqh to DISAPPEAR.
Some else shall take their places, soon?

MF,

Poor attempt at classifying my beliefs simply because I don't feel that embracing Wahabism is a solution when opting out of the Bohra community. I equate it to jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.

You and Qiyam both engage in blind faith (though the Bohra faith is harmless and not violent), and I am of the strong belief that religion will never replace common sense.

Religion does not have to replace common sense. Of course does who do not have any feel that is does.
