hey i really couldnt find much sources to get this info...but my story is something like this i love this sulaimani bohra gurl...and i have been with her since the last 4 yrs n am highly inspired my the sulaimani bohra teaching, i really badly want to convert, not only becuase i wanna marry the gurl but mainly becoz of the teachings of sulaimani bohra is it possible for me to convert and join there community ... even if my parents dont agree to it..please i am in desperate need of some info plzz help me!!

Where are you located?

The center of sulaimani bohras in Karachi is located on M.A.Jinnah Road in front of City Railway station. One of the prominent member(s) of the community in Pakistan were Attiya Begum (1877- 1967), her husband Fayzee Rahamin (converted sulaimani bohra from jewish faith) was a seasoned painter in his own right. An art gallery (Aiwan-i-Riffat) built by the City governemt in their honour.

The community is also well estalished in Bangkok. I met some of sulaimani bohras in Bangkok while I was trying to locate dawoodi bohraa masjid.

By the way why are you not asking your girl about it? She could be better source than anyone else.

dear sajid, i am loacated in pakistan , karachi...the problem is like this i dearly love her and i told her i was willing to convert for her and all, but recently she went on this vacation to meet her relatives in India...n when she returned she calls it off n told me that even if i convert still the sulaimani community wont accept me and she also came up withe these things like she has 2 younger sisters and that she has to look after there future as well, i mean is it like that and all in bohra(sulaimani)..even if the guy converts i mean i really am inspired by there teaching and watever shez told me about them but the problem is are bohra-sulaimani that strick, even if the guy converts

I really don't know much about sulaimani bohras except that their Dai (Hasan bin Husain) is based in Najran, Saudi Arabia.

But tell me where such marriages (when groom and bride are from either from different religion / country / sacts / etc.) are easy? It requires lot of guts and works well, if works.

I can only share my first hand knowledge about Dawoodi Bohra where such marriages has happened.

Just out of curiosity, what attracted you about sulaimani bohras faith?

Dear Saad, hey man you are living the dream! Since when is it easy to go diving for the Pearl... so you really want it or not? Then submit to the One who knows the cost of these things. People in Najran know the cost because they are not saudi sunni wahhabi. How bout you? Her people have told her about Heroes who know how to live. But there are too many suicide losers today. Different kind of sacrifice, so which are you? Way in not easy, but you know you can't settle for anything less!

to every one who read this but specially to saad,brother unfortunately it was too late for me to open this site but if you r still in persuit of her&inspierd of the teachings of sulaimani bohras then u r most wellcomed u will b answered but u have to apperoch directly to their moulanas u will find them in bombay or in hyderabad deccan
listen brother if u think that they r the real people of knowledge then they will certainly have an open mind & i think they will accept u it is not like that they wont accept but u have to show your eagerness & amal(action) hope u will reach your goal
