Protest in Nagour

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

There is a cadcading effect to be seen here. First we hear about the Husainy Masjid, then comes Chennai, then this. The cities are falling like nine pins.

"Ghanu jeevo, ghanu looto"

let us wait for the next bastion to fall.

Bro. S. Insaf is not from Kothar. Everything is not based on money, nor is everybody deluded like the kotharis.

@Babu,

Read carefully Insaf Bhai's posts and try and understand objectively what it is that is being objected to here. It is no coincidence that city after city, jamaat after jamaat is starting to revolt against many inappropriate and unethical behaviours.

Dear Babu,
I heard of some protest at Nagpur. Having no direct contact at Nagpur and getting no confermation I put it on on this Board lets some one in know give details or deny it.
Few days back I had recieved the following email:-
"The Amil of Jamli maszid ( Naryalwadi- Mumbai) was arrested for rape of a young bohri girl. Situation has reached at a stage where no bohras are willing to pray Namaz under his amalat and the Kothar's hands are tied. They cannot fire or transfer this Amil becuase of a pending law suit of a few crores against him. The treasury has enough money to buy out the poor victim, but she insists that the amil needs to be punished and wants to ensure that Kothar is more cautious with their future appointments."
I am still varifying the details, name of Amil, name of victim, date of incident, which police station arrested him etc. and therefore I had not put this news on this board.
Becase I care about the minute detail my posting becomes long. For that you have excuse me.

@babubhai,
just because some orthodox (regressive) bohras come on this forum for passing their time(and they have themselves admitted to it), does not mean that everybody here is a non serious contributor.

It would have been better appreciated if you had been reading Bro S. Insaf's posts and understood his sincere efforts to verify and cross check facts before posting. IMHO, he has been following the highest standards of journalism.
