I have received following email about up-revised taxes called Lagat. Even
thought there is recession and deflation, Bohra taxes never take rest. They
fly higher and higher. Bohras pay taxes without ChuN-ChaN. However, recently
a courageous woman, Ayman Abid of Bahrain, rebelled against Sabeel and
taxes. Her husband is on Dialysis, she has meager source of income. Instead
Jamat helping her from Zakat money, Bhaisaheb was harassing her for paying.
She contacted Indian Embassy in Bahrain about this harassment. She also
wrote a letter describing her predicaments in Mumbai Samachar, a reputable
Newspaper of India. Soon miracle happened. Embassy contacted Bhaisaheb. When
Kothar knew about this bad publicity, they rebuked Bhaisaheb and asked him
to patch-up with her. Bhaisaheb requested her to be back in Jamat. Now
Bhaisaheb gives her financial help. Therefore, if you feel harassed, contact
Indian Embassy or Embassy of your country of residence, they will contact
your Jamat. You then will not be harassed.

in Mumbai Samachar.

Thanks Oma, for your post. Well done Ayman Abid.

She acted like Rosa Parks of USA, 1955.

Mr; moresin, full of sin strikes again. The word laga connotes a mehendi reception. Is this laga islamic? Do all the amils and zadas have to pay this laga when they get married?

Akika 252
- Misaaq $552
- Nikkah Shadi $1552
This is a rip-off. Why does one has to pay $252 for a mere Akika ceremony.

The funniest part of the whole thing is that a bohra has to pay $552 to become a slave via Misaaq. This seems to be the most unique practice in the history of mankind where an adbe pays out of his pocket to become an official slave. Wake up people wake up before it is too late...

Aarif I think we should just admire the successful brainwashing Kothar have achieved in 40 years ie people pay to get enslaved ! I also admire the words that they come up with by spinning lisaane dawat such lagats, najwa, raza to package money collections.

If Kothar markets their capability Venezuela, China, Burma, Taliban would also pay massive lagaats to have Amil expats advising them .
