this is what makes no sense to what ever syedna preaches in his waezez....at one hand he instructs people to obey panjaten in every day life...on the other hand his own son's breaks all islamic values and kills principles of ahlul bayt....

once again i would like to admit rasullullah have cursed such scholars or people of religion who are double standards and whome word and action doesnt coinsides.

Look at the big fat envelope in picture number 10 and why is this guy burdened with so many shawls in last two pictures. Wonder if each shawl has its own NAJWA?

I never intended to compare with ahlul bayt...nor i am a leader of any islamic community so i dont have to be role model for many...but if some body has the responsibility of billion people he must follow the foot step of ahlul bayt to become a role model.

Actually the similarity is more than visual or superficial. The Kothar is the mafia. It displays all its characteristics: Control, power, money, extortion, extravagance. Loyalty is rewarded. Opposition is crushed. Subjects are kept happy with trivialities and trinkets (excellent facilities, jamans). Friendship and support is bought (from politicians and Muslim mullahs). It's secretive and sly. Its wealth and its expenditure remain unaccountable. The Dai remains a front man but the real power lies elsewhere. But this religious mafia is way smarter than the Godfather types. It controls tens of thousands of people without firing a bullet. In fact, I want to make a movie on them!! Sunni's and other sects are infamous in this matter it is true but it is because of cultural elements not because Islam allows it. The village roots of most ppl are the main culprit. if Bro. MF 's village has a good tradition then there is no need to send laanat and utter wahabi wahabi. The fact is that there is no governing body for the secular issues for sunni's so who ever wants to spend crores on marriage is free to do so.


For the tightly controlled centralized dawoodi bohra sect, where the leadership and royal family roam abt styling the dai as a re-incarnation of sorts of imam hussain himself, must atleast forbid such extravagance and wastage and show off. instead we see the shezaadas taking part it themselves. They are further encouraging this "fashion" .

My sisters were married with Rs 127 Mehr. They were given 11Joda clothes and Dahej of a bed, a cupboard, 2chairs and a side table and utensils.

In my village demand of higher mehr is indication of unreliable family. As far as food is considered a meal of Daal, chaval and Jerda is normal. There is various level of invitation. Some families are invited, some family are given gents only invitation. Rich person might invite whole village and may serve better food.

My brother married Pak based villager's daughter. Her mother is from A'bad. They demanded Rs 5000 mehr and there was big fight and Baraat almost went home.
