First of all faith is never governed by democracy. And I know you would repeat the same things that how can the orthodox accept the democracy. In this video, Dr. Abbas Hamdani, Professor of Emeritus University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee explains Ikhwan-us-Safa also called 52 Risalat or Epistle. He has done extensive work books related to Ismaili (Bohra) literature. He has wrtten AN ISLAMIC BACKGROUND TO THE VOYAGES OF DISCOVERY ABBAS HAMDANI
In the middle is seated Dr. Ismail Poonawala, Professor of Arabic & Islamic Studies, UCLA, Los Angeles, California. He has done extensive work on literature related Fatimid period. He has thoroughly revised original English translation of Daim al Islam (The Pillars of Islam) by Dr. AAA Fayzee and published it few years ago. It was very popular; it was reprinted twice. He also has written many articles on issues related to Bohra faith. He has addressed many conferences on Qur'an held in in many western countries and Middle East.
This video was produced several years ago when these two Bohra luminaries were invited to shed light on Ikhwan-us-Safa and other religious matters matters.
